I understand that they were allowed thirty minutes with his doctor. My point was that the article does not mention how long they had to look at the "file."

OK, given the following 'facts':
Doctors decided to leave the shrapnel in place rather than make a wider opening to remove it
and
...a minor urinary tract infection ... (the clap)
Who is to say the two stories are not related? As long as dems make up wild allegations, so can we: John F'n Kerry, visits the local bordello and engages in a less then satisfactory episode with a hooker. He gets mad and stiffs her (no pun intended). She gets mad and pulls out a knife, stabbing him in the leg, breaking the tip of the knife off.
JF'nK, now sees this as an opportunity, the wound becomes a "shrapnel" wound, he gets a PH and the hooker gave him the clap.
Just think, if we play this story right, that hooker (who probably runs the dry cleaners here in town) may have the last laugh by costing him any chance at the Presidency.

I apologize for my earlier post. I didn't express what I meant to say about the reporters meeting with the doctor very well.

Put there when he had shoulder surgery. With Kerry's bucks for doctors does anyone thing he still has shrapnal.

No. and all they have to do is release the entire record to prove it. Of course they havn't finished typing it yet.

It's probably a piece of some woman's spike heel that she used to kick him with.

This doc has treated Kerry for 18 years, and hasn't seen the wound? You are confusing a 'wound' with 'scar wound.' I believe he said he "didn't see the wound." Meaning, while it was fresh.

Kerry's shrapnel = splinter.

My thoughts exactly. I was totally unaware he'd served there. Imagine my surprise. Contrast him with Tillman. Tillman wouldn't talk about his service and gave his life. Kerry can't shut up about it, and turned on his comrades.

Maybe iron-rich blood counts as 'schrapnel' these days. Hell, I thought I knew what 'is' meant.

Yes, it does, according to a doctor with whom I just spoke.

How does a doctor treat someone for 18 years and not see their thigh?
To: fhayek
Kerry was in Vietnam? Best one of the day. ROFL!

The doctors minder probably waved the file in front of them and then gave them preprinted faxs to take home.
These fledgling reporters wouldn't know a Cookoo if it was
sitting in the nest with them.

Maybe this doctor is his proctologist. Well, no, scratch that idea, since Jean is a walking a-hole, so that would cover his thighs.

Kerry sickeningly trying to piggyback on to Pat Tillman's (well deserved) hero parade.
