Even this thing doesn't really come out and say what's wrong with adult/child sex.

Anyone favoring such things can always rationalize away old fashioned morality. And physical evidence about "damage to children" can be argued about. But the fact remains that adults control children. So it is intolerant that adults who are in positions of power over children to have the ability to legally have sex with them. The children are not old enough to decide such things for themselves.
