Too much cursing, unfortunately. Quite odd for a 'conservative' cartoon. Using foul language to get attention is normally something I associate with the Left.

Well I understand your trepidations, but as extremely right wing as I am I am not offended by a few cuss words.
I also love Sanford & Sons and there is some offensive language there as well.

My favorite line was from the main character's "conservative confession" the other night. To paraphrase:
"I don't believe there's a vast Right-Wing conspiracy out there, because if there was, I'd be a member of it."

Too bad you exclude yourself from seeing the sheer brilliance of a conservative message put forth to the mass audience. It must get boring watching nothing but ETWN.
Not all conservatives are stuffy :)

Tonite's episode featured G.W's press conference and he took a question From Sean Penn who identified himself as an Al-Jazeera reporter, And the G.W. character said: "I'd like to take you seriously but you married Madonna, next question" This is priceless.

It's a boring and unimaginative cartoon. After a few attempts at watching it I think I will do without. I do however think the extreme challenge or whatever it is called is very funny. It's the Japanese show with the American dubb-overs. Southpark is good and I'm looking forward to next week as it's the beginning of the new episodes.

... then Penn tried to object to that remark, and Bush replied, "
Shanghai Surprise?"
Definitely some good stuff!

"I don't believe there's a vast Right-Wing conspiracy out there, because if there was, I'd be a member of it."
This would make a great tagline, if only it would fit!!
RE: This Just In, hubby and I watched it a few times and we LOVE it - it cracks us up to tears. If only it was on Fox and got more exposure. Notice how there's been no coverage of this series at all by anyone? You figure in an election year there'd be something but it seems no one will touch it!

That was a howl! I went to the Spike website and encouraged them to keep the show. Please do the same :)

Well, I like South Park even though that has plenty of profanity, because it's not *completely* gratuitous profanity, i.e. it only uses gratuitous profanity to make a point about profanity itself. In "This Just In" it is atmosphere, and doesn't add to any comic points.
