NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - FX is developing a film exploring a possible Middle Eastern terrorist link to the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995.
The film would be based on the book "The Third Terrorist," by Jayna Davis, a former reporter for an NBC-affiliated station in Oklahoma City. In "Terrorist," Davis investigates the connection between convicted bomber Timothy McVeigh and a group of Iraqi expatriates living in Oklahoma City in 1995. However, the FBI has not lent credence to her findings.
"The film asks, why did everyone ignore what this woman was saying again and again?" said producer Rob Scheidlinger ("SportsNight").

FX has been known in the past for some top notch in-house produced movies. I can't wait to see this one.

GREAT question. I'd like to know the answer.</>The obvious possibility that has floated around the rumor mill for years: They were ordered not to, from the highest levels, for political reasons.
There is good reason to think that without the Oklahoma City bombing to blame on the right, Clinton would never have been reelected.

I believe Clinton himself said as much in an interview early in his second term.

Interesting that the likes of Reuters would run even a short piece on this.

"There is good reason to think that without the Oklahoma City bombing to blame on the right, Clinton would never have been reelected."
Yes, Clinton,Inc. did intimate just that; associations immediately to every right-wing group and of course, those who 'fanned the flames of hate' ie right-wing, hate radio. Yess. . .Rush et al; though they later claimed they did not mean Rush. . .per se.
The worst of course, was to watch Clinton let this tragedy serve him.
To consider more than that; say, our Country. . .would have required more than a narcissistic, sociopath could have delivered.
Clinton simply wanted to enjoy the pleasures of power without the 'burden of responsibility'. He relished his own self-aggrandizement; had to pretend to a humility. And of course, suffered delusions of 'legacy grandeur' that precluded ever dealing with 'real issues' that required genuine Leadership.
Bottom line, one cannot get authentic, moral leadership from a turnip of a President. Cannot happen.

FX pic probes Oklahoma City bombing FX is developing an original film exploring a possible Middle Eastern terrorist link to the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. However, the FBI has not lent credence to her findings. "The film asks, why did everyone ignore what this woman was saying again and again?" Scheidlinger said. Scheidlinger also is attached to an original biopic about 1940s-era gangster Mickey Cohen in development at TNT. Robert Towne ("Chinatown") is attached to produce and potentially direct. (Andrew Wallenstein) I'm surprised Robert Towne is involved with this. I just figured him to be a big lefty Clinton lover.

Investigative reporter Jayna Davis connected al-Qaeda and
Iraq directly to both attacks on the World Trade Center
and Oklahoma City.
