Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Unlike many of her Hollywood friends, two-time Emmy winner Patricia Heaton, star of the hit comedy series "Everybody Loves Raymond," won't be attending Sunday's pro-abortion march in Washington.
"Many of the celebrities on the list are my friends," Heaton explained, "but when it comes to championing abortion, we go our separate ways."
"I find it impossible to subscribe to a philosophy that believes that the destruction of human life is a legitimate solution to a problem that is mostly social, economic and psychological," said Heaton. "In reality, most women 'choose' abortion because they believe they have no other choice."
Looking to bolster the number of march participants, abortion advocates have recruited a litany of pro-abortion celebrities to pump their cause.
The list ranges from musicians such as Christina Aguilera, Lisa Loeb, and Ashley Judd to actors such as Jennifer Aniston, Helen Hunt, and Lynda Carter and other notables like Ellen DeGeneres, Emme, Cindy Crawford, and Jane Fonda.
According to recent polls, the pro-abortion women celebrities don't represent the majority of women.
A September 2003 poll conducted by the Polling Company found 54 percent of women selected one of three different pro-life views opposing all or almost all abortions. Only 39 percent backed abortion.
The results are similar to those found in a poll conducted by a pro-abortion group.
In June, the Center for the Advancement of Women released the results of a poll showing that 51 percent of women took a pro-life position. Their poll also found that keeping abortion legal was the next to last most important priority for women as compared with other public policy issues.
Heaton is not surprised by such polling, saying that women often turn to abortion because of a lack of practical resources and emotional support. Many women who have had abortions report that they felt abandoned, or even coerced into abortion.
"Women who experience unplanned pregnancy also deserve unplanned joy," said Heaton, who believes abortion is evidence that society has failed to meet the real needs of women.
Marchers say, "We won't go back." Heaton responds, "If it is up to march organizers, we won't move forward either. It's time to raise the bar, not protect the status quo. Every woman deserves better than abortion, and every child deserves a chance at life."
Heaton is the honorary chairwoman of Feminists for Life, a pro-woman, pro-life group that works to find solutions to abortion that affirm the dignity of women.
"Being a mother is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life," Heaton concludes. "As a member of Feminists for Life, I want to share the joy of motherhood with other women, to enable women to make life-affirming choices for themselves and their children, and to elevate our society's perception of mothers."

Margie Adam-- Jazz Pianist. Has a link to a radical feminist blog (today's article: "9/11 Widows Skillfully Applied Power..." ) on her website's front page.
Christina Aguilera--Anything I say here will be mean.
Jennifer Aniston-- If you're unborn, she ain't your friend. (and why isn't Brad coming along?)
Curtis Armstrong-- Booger from Revenge of the Nerds.
Elaine Aronson--TV writer. Created "Saved By The Bell, which is pretty much all you need to know. (Also wrote for Cybil and Roseanne.)
Bea Arthur-- She got an abortion on "Maude" in the 70s and it's been Molech-A-Rama ever since.
Ed Asner--I would have thought he'd be too busy kissing Castro's hind end to make it to this party.
Kevin Bacon--I guess he can't handle the truth or maybe he just wants to be footloose.
Alec Baldwin--Shouldn't he be in France?
William Baldwin--Who? You know you suck when you're less famous than Stephen Baldwin.
Meredith Baxter--She doesn't want any family ties.
Shari Belafonte--Like her Dad, one or two bananas short of a bunch.
Maria Bello--Dr. Del Ammico from "ER", Rosie the hooker from "Payback."
Polly Bergen--Starred in the original (Robert Mitchum) "Cape Fear." Hasn't worked since '96.
Thora Birch--22, last movie was for Lifetime.
Amy Brenneman--The judge on "Judging Amy." I question her judgment.
Betty Buckley--Either "Miss Collins" in "Carrie" or the producer of "Wishbone", depending on which Betty Buckley they mean.
Jessica Capshaw--Kate's daughter. Regular on "The Practice"
Lynda Carter--I wonder why she's dumb enough to buy this pro-abort crap.
Stockard Channing--Rizzo (who thought she was pregnant) in "Grease," currently the first "lady" on West Wing, 60 years old and that's old enough to know better.
Jill Clayburgh--I had not heard of any project IMDB lists her in, going back for quite a ways.
Kate Clinton--Host of "In The Life," the gay & lesbian propaganda broadcast newsmagazine.
Glenn Close--She couldn't stop at bunnies and Dalmatians...
Cindy Crawford--Pretty ugly behavior.
Sheryl Crow--Abortion is her favorite mistake, and it's necessary because all she wants to do is have some fun.
Alan Cumming--Was Nightcrawler in X2 and Fegan Floop (fictional character most likely to be killed by me with a K-Bar knife if he really existed) from the Spy Kids trilogy.
Tyne Daly--If you look up "has been" in the dictionary...
Blythe Danner--Longtime has been (though last major work was on waaaayyy pro-abortion Presido Med, two years ago), and has been a pro-abort activist since way back. Passed it on to her daighter Gwyneth Paltrow, who has cited Bush's abortion policies as a reason she will no longer live in the States. Late hubby (ex?) Bruce Paltrow was a producer on St. Elsewhere and was responsible for a bloody abortion clinic bombing episode.
Kristin Davis--Sex and the City
Ossie Davis--Old enough to know better, and is apparently OK with 3 out of every 5 black kids going in the medical waste bag.
Dana Delany--Played Margaret Sanger in a TV movie.
Laura Dern--Actress, Jurassic Park. Daughter of Bruce.
Ellen DeGeneres--Needs abortion rights why? Could she be a lesbian because of PAS? Seen it happen before.
Ani DiFranco-- Punk Folkie. Ironically, runs "Righteous Babe" records.
Illeana Douglas--Her last credit I had actually heard of says it all: The Adventures of Pluto Nash. A never was, rather than a has been.
Denise Dowse--Actress. Plays a judge on "The Guardian" frequently.
Fran Drescher--Creator, producer and star of "The Nanny." Um, Fran...do you remember a little thing called, "The Holocaust?"
Kirsten Dunst--SpiderMan and other projects.
David Eigenberg--Another never was. Almost nothing listed on IMDB.
Hector Elizondo--Chicago Hope and numerous movie roles.
Emme--The first plus-sized supermodel.
Eve Ensler--Wrote "The Vagina Monologues"
Giancarlo Esposito--Homicide: Life on the Street. How appropriate.
Melissa Etheridge--Um...OK. See Ellen Degeneres.
Morgan Fairchild--Unfair to children.
Edie Falco--Of the Sopranos. Whacking works for her.
Frances Fisher--They probably mean the one who was in Titanic. She's definitely not willing to put women and children first.
Calista Flockhart--Allie McBeal. Apparently adoption's only a good choice if she wants a baby as an accessory. Sadly, we in Freeport have to claim this twit as a former resident.
Jane Fonda
Bonnie Franklin--From One Day At A Time
Janeane Garofalo--Stop being so Dogmatic. If you can tell the truth about cats and dogs, why not tell the truth about babies?
Ana Gasteyer--From SNL.
Indigo Girls--Ironically, they have a song about the Holocaust that asks "Do you belong to the human race?" Apparently they serve "The Prince of Darkness."
Annabeth Gish--Not much other than West Wing.
Whoopi Goldberg--Get thee to a nunnery.
Lauren Graham--I assume they mean the one from "Gilmore Girls," not the one from "Prison A-Go-Go!"
Maggie Gyllenhaal--Major sleaze. Her big break was "Secretary." Right now she's working on a film called "In God's Hands." Uh-huh. See Hebrews 10:31, Maggie.
LisaGay Hamilton--Minor actress. Interestingly, this Black woman once wrote an outraged letter to the Village Voice to protest not being cast (swallow your coffee before reading further) as Hester Prynne in a production of "The Scarlet Letter. Sure honey, that's real racism. Don't worry, when Bobby DeNiro plays Harriett Tubman later this year, it will balance the scales.
Ben Harper--Singer and hubby of Laura Dern.
Ed Harris--Claims Bush isn't a real man because he's pro-life. Too bad, I was a major fan prior to that.
Salma Hayek--Actress and producer.
Marg Helgenberger--Catherine Willows on CSI. Also starred on China Beach.
Isabella Hofmann--Another Homicide alum promoting America's favorite form of homicide.
Helen Hunt--If you need a reason abortion should be legal, go to Helen Hunt for it.
Amy Jo Johnson--Formerly the Pink Power Ranger
Kathryn Joosten--The President's secretary on West Wing.
Ashley Judd
Catherine Keener--Minor Actress.
Carole King
Swoosie Kurtz--"Sisters", pretty much in has been mode since then.
Christine Lahti--Chicago Hope, and not much else of note.
Sanaa Lathan--Minor Actress
Sharon Lawrence--"NYPD Blue" and (snicker) "Atomic Twister"
Lisa Loeb--One hit wonder ("Stay")
Amy Madigan--Minor actress. Was in "The Laramie Project" about the death of Matthew Sheppard.
Natalie Maines--The blabbermouth from the Dixie Chicks. I confused her with Natalie Merchant of 10,000 Maniacs (also a pro-abort) when I first composed this list, and given the major difference in looks and talent, I suspect Merchant is looking for me with a baseball bat.
Wendie Malick--Nina Van Horn on "Just Shoot Me." Excellent comedienne, but I ain't laughing.
Joshua Malina--West Winger
Camryn Manheim--From The Practice. Famously thanked every congresscritter who voted to acquit Clinton for her Emmy.
Frances McDormand--"Fargo." Got to keep the wood chipper occupied...
Ewan McGregor--Obi-Wan has turned to the Dark Side.
Marilyn McIntyre--Soap actress.
Sarah McLachlan--Singer

Demi Moore
Julianne Moore--She's a cannibal, and she played one in the movies.
Alanis Morissette--RU-486 is a bitter little pill, kid.
Kathy Najimy--Get thee to a nunnery, too.
Alyson Palmer--Song writer and bit part actress. Member of the band "BETTY" with the Ziff sisters.
Joe Pantoliano--Whacking adults on The Sopranos must have lost it's luster.
Mary-Louise Parker--West Wing, Angels in America
Adrian Pasdar--Judging Amy
Pink--Singer. "I'm comin' up"
Martha Plimpton--The tall, thin blonde girl from "Goonies." Never went much further after that, though she did a great job playing a drug addict on ER a couple of years ago.
Doris Roberts--Ray's Mom on "Everybody Loves Raymond." I'm giving 3 to 1 odds on Patricia Heaton if a fight breaks out; Heaton's scrappy!...
Paul Rudd--Last major credit was "Clueless," appropriately enough. (OK, I'll be nice: Was a returning character on "Friends" for most of a season.)
Susan Sarandon--I just want to know, what did a fetus ever do to us?
Campbell Scott--Actor. A never was.
Kyra Sedgwick--Secondhand Lions. Working on a movie called "Something the Lord made." Duuhhhhh...
Martin Sheen--President of the fairyland where liberalism actually works.
Cybill Shepherd--Boinked Elvis once. Oh wait, yeah, she was on Moonlighting and in some movies too.
SONiA--Folkie songwriter from a duo called "disappear fear". Current CD is called "no bomb is smart." Neither is she.
Fisher Stevens--"Early Edition." Also responsible for one of my favorite lines of all time, in "My Science Project":
Police officer: Kid, why do you wear your sunglasses at night?
Kid: Cause when you're cool, the sun shine on you 24 hours a day."
Gloria Steinem--I know you all know who she is, but just for fun...This is the woman who said it was OK for Bill Clinton to grope women in his office, as long as he only did it until they said "No."
Julia Stiles--There must be at least ten things she hates about the unborn.
Corky and Mike Stoller--Jazz musicians, married couple.

Uma Thurman--Kill Bill...and Tina, and Bob, and Ebony, and Juan...
Heather Tom--Soap actress.
Stanley Tucci--Character actor. Get's lots of work.
Kathleen Turner--Her last major work was "the Virgin Suicides" and now she promotes non-virgin homicides. Also, note that she was the title character in "Serial Mom."
Ted Turner--Shouldn't he be too busy persecuting Christians to attend this rally?
Sarah Weddington--Roe's attorney in the original case.
Audrey Wells--Writer and Director (Under The Tuscan Sun)
Bradley Whitford--West Winger
Alfre Woodard--Many films. I remember her best as "Lily" (Zephram Cochrane's partner) in "Star Trek: First Contact"
Thom Yorke--Member of Radiohead. Supports sucking brains out of babyheads.
Amy & Elizabeth Ziff--Members of "BETTY".
