[history]
The lack of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq contradicts years of intelligence indicating Saddam had such weapons, which also was the conclusion of officials in the Clinton administration.
"The consensus was the same, from the Clinton administration to the Bush administration," she said. "It was the same intelligence belief that our allies and friends around the world shared.

"The consensus was the same, from the Clinton administration to the Bush administration," she said. "It was the same intelligence belief that our allies and friends around the world shared.
"But I think that in the case of the [Bush] administration, they really believed it. They really thought they were right, but they didn't let enough sunlight into their thinking process to really have the kind of debate that needs to take place when a serious decision occurs like that."
Now Hillry really cannot be expected to explain that her hubby was not going to take out Saddam in his "wag the dog" move, that would have put an end to the UN "OIL for rotten FOOD" scam.

If Bill Clinton said it, then it must be a lie. The Bush admin shouldda known better. But, I believe the weapons were and maybe still are there. Offer reward money for the weapons, and they will be found.
(It works in my house. If I lose something, and I offer a financial reward, at least one of my children will search high and low until the item is found.)

Wireless phones are great until a power outage or a tornado destroys the transmitting towers.

(John Kerry? America just can't afford a 9/10 President in a 9/11 world. Vote Bush-Cheney '04.)

IIRC there was a thread in the last few days highlighting what Colin Powell said at the UN about phone conversations they had intercepted during the run-up to the war. Evidently, the conversations regarded the "hiding" something, "cleaning out" certain areas, etc. The conversations to me seemed very clear - The WMD were being moved all over the country to avoid the inspectors. Finally, they were moved out of the country. Many people still contend the evidence points to Syria.
And .. in the recent arrests in Jordan (on supposed attack on USA embassy there), it has been mentioned that some of the chemicals Jordan seized could be traced - and could lead back to Syria - and ultimately could be traced to be FROM IRAQ. I'm quite sure the dims will be upset when this news is revealed, and will try to claim we are making this up.
