if these guys are anywhere near an open flame...pilot lights, too. I met someone who tried the gasoline-on-the-lice-thing, and the pilot light ignited this poor child. She suffered 3rd degree burns on her face, neck and shoulders.

oily stuff out (ie - its used for wildlife soaked from an oil spill).

She's right. My daughter got into a jar of vaseline when she was little. Her head was just caked with it! LOL I had to wash her hair 5 times with Dawn, but it worked. Keep washing...and stop scalding his scalp! LOL

For skunks, a combo of Dawn, baking soda, and peroxide works best. Remember when I posted a year or so ago that my dog got sprayed by a skunk? None of the common household remedies worked. But the groomer knew just what to use- the concoction above.
