The Dems will just say this was mulch a-doo about nothing...

I use to think people were joking when they would say these dirt bags think laws are not made for them. Now, I take it seriously. These dirt bags really DO think they can do anything.

No, I have no idea who the first wife was. I do remember that when he was first running for office, he was single and a lot was made of the fact he needed a wife. I always figured he snagged Wicked Wanda from the dregs of DC. But with the son's name, maybe she was a 'free spirit' that didn't fit the image of DC.

I would love to see and read the story from the victim's point of view! Who did Wacko Wanda hit?

The paper didn't list the victim's name. She's probably gone into hiding for fear the WW might want round 2.

"My husband is a Senator and owns about a bazillion acres of sheep ranch in Montana."

Maybe Max is thinking he should have stuck with the sheep instead of hooking up with this nut case.

Hard to believe that a senator's peacenik wife would turn violent.

Maybe the victim had a Bush bumpersticker and, therefore, deserved to be punched in the face and chest?

I confess I am running out of peat moss referrals. I think my imagination has ground to a halt.

Did anyone see Brian Wilson's piece on this on Brit Hume's show? Hilarious!

First they went to her home and found that there was a mulch deficiency in the flower beds, necessitating a mulch emergency for Mrs. Baucus.

They then showed that she was hauling around 50 lb. bags of mulch, which indicated she was pretty strong.

THEN they showed footage of Baucus with a black eye, which he said he got in a jogging mishap, and Brian said that perhaps we should look into this incident again, as inquiring minds want to know!

HA!

You bet! Washington, D.C. has designed itself to trap these people in its web. That is why these assh**es never go home when their terms run out.

Alas, the topic
does lend itself
to sinking deep
into the morass
of the thick
black gooey muck
where words are sparse
and the mud sucks
mercilessly on all
loose overboots.

Saaaaay whhhhuuuuuutttt???

Quoth the redwinged blackbird
on the willowy cattail:
SKReeeeEEE SKReeeeEEE!
Woe betide those
Nasty deer flies
Who venture close.

Why in late summer
afternoons is that
Contrary cow sooooooo
Intent on the watercress
In the deepest muck
Right at milking time?

I saw Wilson's piece. He looked like he was having too much fun with it!

Does anyone know how this is playing in Montana?

Wow, now that is what I call poetry. Sure beats "I never think that I shall see, a poem lovely as a tree." Even though there is a nice Joyce Kilmer Rest Area on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Thanks tons. Am humbled by your kind comment.

Just a memory from my Jr High school days. Glad it resonated somehow.

I realize Joyce K wasn't a renowned poet per the experts. I still enjoyed her stuff.
