Today I received the book "Hillary's Secret War: The Clinton Conspiracy to Muzzle Internet Journalists".
From the cover:
From her war room in the White House, Hillary Clinton commanded a secret police operation dedicated to silencing dissent, muzzling media critics, intimidating political foes, whitewashing Clinton scandals, and obstructing justice, all aided by a network of Clinton moles planted at every level of the news media, federal court system, intelligence agencies, and federal law enforcement.
Mainstream news media spiked the story of Hillary's secret war - and the scandals she sought to conceal. But the courageous new journalists of the Internet underground defied the odds and exposed the shocking truth about history's most corrupt presidency.
Written with all the drama and tension of a gripping novel, this carefully researched book gives the inside story of how these modern-day patriots endured Hillary's attacks and emerged from the battlefield to become a sprawling, innovative news source reaching tens of millions each day. Hillary's Secret War presents a tale of dogged courage and sacrifice, one of the greatest untold stories in the annals of journalism.

"Rack it" has been used a lot by Jim Rome on his Sports Talk Show.

Katie gets it but is one of those gatekeepers for Hillary.
I've just been reading a few pages and came back here. We're now into the section of Chapter 1 that deals with how Hillary knew the internet was a threat and how she set up a secret police and intimidation to deal with it.

I conspire; therefore, I am.
I think I'll pout because I'm not in the book.
Granted, I'm not frequent...granted, I'm not too astute...granted, I can't spell...BUT might I not be mentioned just FOR these things?
Well, I may covet y'all's fame, but I'm still mighty proud of y'all FOR your fame!
WHOOPIE FOR FreeRepublic and the FREEDOM OF SPEECH which it allows!! AND thank you to Jim Robinson!

Bill Sammon did write a book, At Any Cost; how Al Gore tried to steal the election .
And it is a terrific chronology of what (really) happened in 2000. I highly recommend reading it---especially now with hindsight in play and Miss Kerry putting lawyers on retainers.

My book is on the way. So I'm not reading this thread. I don't want to hear anything about the book. It's like someone telling you the ending of the movie.
Not sure if I can do this but I'm going to try.

Where does that phrase come from, what part of the country. I just presumed that it came from the lingo created by sportstalk radio legend Jim Rome, who says "Rack it!" when a caller makes a entertaining or well-thought out contribution. The "racked" calls are thus nominated to be the "Huge Call of the Day," and that call is replayed at the end of the program.
At least, that was the way it worked back when I listened to the Rome show. I haven't in years.

I don't think Kerry/DNC has enough money to put that many lawyers on retainer. I never believed McAwful had all those lawyers just sitting by the phone/fax/email waiting for a call, either.
It is just DNC rhetoric for the peons/red meat for the base.
Rats lie.

Wow. I've read down to post #57 and Alamo-Girl hasn't been mentioned yet??
Alamo-Girl is my all time favorite heroine of FR and her efforts sorting and assembling all the Clinton information were breathtaking!
