Let's clear up one point: We didn't start the war on terror. Try to remember. It was started by terrorists on 9/11. Let's look at the "worst" president and mismanagement claims.
FDR led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us: Japan did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an average of 112,500 per year.
Truman finished that war and started one in Korea. North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an average of 18,333 per year. John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.
Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year.
Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent. Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
In the two years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida. He put nuclear inspectors in Lybia, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000+ of his own people.
We lost 600 soldiers, an average of 300 a year. Bush did all this abroad while not allowing another terrorist attack at home.
Worst president in history? Come on!

Cool. I got it via email as stated. Thanks for the rest of the facts.

Actually, Germany did declare war on us first. Doesn't mean FDR didn't want to go to war, but it didn't happen like this post says either.

I never thought I'd live to see the day when it wasn't unusual to hear that America started WWII. We're living in strange times.

Yeah, the post was kind of ridiculous. "North Korea never attacked us" is irrelevant crap. They attacked an ally of the US, and they ravaged the first US unit they encountered (TASK FORCE SMITH, who fought bravely, but in the end, forced to withdraw.)Aren't we bound to defend our allies?

Actually, it said he led us into WWII. Indicating, to me anyway, that the war had already begun.
To: AfghanIraqVeteran
Mr. Bush is the worst president ever: for Americas ENEMIES.
The war on America was not started on 911, it was just the SNOWBALL effect from the senile Jimmy peanut farmer Carter (WORST president in American History for Americans, Best for Americas Enemies) (Boy am I angry). When Jimmy bop sat on his ass eating peanuts for 1 year while Americans where held hostage, the perception of Americas weakness started, and 911 is a result of American Government lack of RESOLVE. Dam those Democrats. BLAME them for thousands of innocent lives lost over the last 15 years! Including Bill look what you did to my dress CLITon.
To: Levante
Yes we are, but I think you are not catching the "drift" of this post. It is taking the LIBERAL viewpoints of these wars, and adding sarcasm. Of course we know true history and the fact that we did not start any of these wars. It is simply playing off the fact that liberals believe we started the war on terror.

Exactly right.
