She's another one I'd love to meet. I'm reading her book now, and the more I read, the more I like her.
What a Godly group of people the President has chosen to surround himself with!

I want that book. I'll get it eventually. Just have to wait for the price to come down at the Conservative Book Club. I can get Shawn Hannity's book for $9.95 now. I was heartbroken when Karen went back to Texas. I thought that she was the glue of his administration. I'm so happy that she will be helping again. She is a genius at campaigning, and the most effective spokeperson for Dubya. I wish she could be his press agent.

Did you see Karen's book is on the NY Times best sellers
list. She is going to be here in San Diego on the 26th
to give a talk and sign her book.

Karen Hughes is doing a book signing in SanDiego on Monday, the 26th. I'm wanting to go, but my mom has been ill so it may be too late to get in. I sure hope I can see her though because I would love to have an autographed book. Keep your fingers crossed.

I thought Karen Hughes (if that's who you are talking about - I'm so tired I'm beginning to lose track of the interleaved discussions) is pro-abortion. Of course, after being around this loving man who believes that life begins at conception, and a baby is a person, it's possible that she's changed her mind. But I know I've read articles about her stance on abortion and I didn't like them.
I remember when the President was wrestling with the stem-cell research, she provided all of the arguments FOR doing it as she believes whole-heartedly in doing stem-cell research in the hopes of curing some diseases.
IMHO, the President got it exactly right. Killing growing embryos, even at the 2-40 cell stage is still killing a baby, and based on that, he made that important speech on "No stem-cell resarch while I am President, except for existing lines" which a lot of us didn't like as well.
