Amber Alert Issued for 3 Year Old North Carolina Girl Posted: Tuesday 04/20/04 8:43 AM CT

The Robeson County Sheriff's Office and the N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued the Amber Alert after the girl was abducted from her home in Lumberton early Tuesday.

Jai Mya Glover, a black female, 3 yrs., 2' 6", 27 lbs. was abducted from her home in Lumberton North Carolina shortly after midnight Tuesday.

She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and white panties with purple flowers. She also had two bracelets on each arm.

Police are looking for four black males who may be driving a small dark-colored vehicle with silver or gold pin stripes.

The men allegedly assaulted the girl's mother and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Oh no, God help this baby. Any pics for those in the area to be on the lookout for her.
God give peace to her mother too who is not only recovering from an assault, but now has to also worry about what is happening to her little girl.

Strange. Four men? How could anyone see pin stripes on a car in the dark? There's got to be more to this story.

Preying on little children should be a death penalty offense.

I am sure there is more. This sounds like (a) the mother or mother's boyfriend got on the wrong side of some local thugs about drugs being ripped off or a 'loan' payment overdue and the goons grabbed the child as collateral until the other matter is adjusted or (b) the mother or boyfriend accidentally or deliberately did something fatal to the child and this is a dodge to distract the cops. If the latter it won't take long to come out in the wash. There was a similar occurance in the Baltimore area a few years ago. The family of a 7/8 year old girl reported her missing after supposedly wandering awy one winter Sunday afternoon while the family was at White Marsh Mall. In about two days the state and county police had the real story. The girl had been beaten to death by dad (while he was in a cocaine withdrawl rage) and then dumped north of Balto in a land fill, I think, and the mall dissapearace story concocted.
This event also smells of fish. Something more there for certain.

Please join me in this prayer:

Oh Lord, send Your angels to direct the search to find this precious little baby. Protect her wherever she is, cover her with Your blood so that she is not harmed in any way. Comfort her when she cries for her mommy and she's not there. Will You Yourself be her mommy for her, hold her and dry her tears.

Lord, please please get into the very soul of her abductors and place such an intense conviction in them that they have no choice but to turn themselves in. Lord I ask you bind every demonic spirit in these men, in the name of Jesus. Lord, Lord, reach deep into their hearts with love, convince them that this is not the way. Convince them that the little girl they have stolen needs he mommy and daddy....help them to realize what they have done. Let them come forward with this baby, and be treated with compassion and given help.

Lord we pray for the parents. It seems futile to even ask You to comfort them, because there is NOTHING like this pain...only You can ease it, only You can support them as they all wait for news. Please Father, in the name of Jesus, by the power of Your precious Blood, bring this little girl back into the arms of her family, where she belongs. Let her suffer no aftereffects of what has happened to her.

Lord as we pray this prayer together yet still apart, we are counting on You to bring her home. You said, "Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them." We live in Your word. We live in Your grace. And we live in Your eternal hope. Please bring little Jai home safely.
