Powell denies that he said Dick Cheney had a "fever" to go to war in Iraq, and that he (Powell) can no longer communicate with Dick Cheney.

Powell says that, on the contrary, Cheney often tells the President that he needs to hear from Colin Powell if he has a different opinion than Cheney's. Powell says he and Cheney are "good friends". Powell says going to Iraq was the right decision at the time, and that it's the right decision now.

Look for Powell and Cheney to appear together sometime soon. It may just be a photo-op but I bet it will happen.
