Erin Anderson to speak at Texans for Immigration Reform meeting, April 24

Our April meeting will be a special program. Erin Anderson will discuss her family's experiences with illegal immigrants on the Arizona/Mexico border.

Ms. Anderson has worked for Barry Goldwater, Jack Kemp, the House Republican Conference, and the National Republican Congressional Committee. She recently co-wrote (with William Hawkins) a study entitled "The Open Borders Lobby and the Nation's Security After 9/11." It was published in FrontPage Magazine in January. Her family has owned property on the border for more than a hundred years, and she will give us a first-hand account of the negative consequences of illegal immigration.

The meeting will be at the River Oaks Apartments, 3435 Westheimer, at 10:30 a.m., next Saturday, April 24. Texans for Immigration Reform is suggesting a $10 donation to defray costs.

Old saw bones said I'm good to go, and if I can, I will be there, because from what I’ve heard Ms. Anderson is the real deal.
