Spain is making a big mistake. Their homefront won't be safe from islamofascist terrorists.

Appeasement has nothing to do with it.
The socialists are the axis of terrorism and have been for over a century; they will say and do anything, terrorize anybody, kill anybody, destroy anything, to get the power for which they lust.
To accuse Spain of retreating, is wrong, because Spain, the Spanish people, are most definitely not cowards.
Their problems are very much based upon the country's socialists, who now have control of the government.

Europe needs to look no farther to understand why Bin Laden thinks he can get a "truce" than Spain's withdrawal and influenced elections.

Now that Spain has tucked tail and ran from the terrorists,
the terrorists now control Spain. Whatever whim any
terrorist groups have for Spain now will have to be met,
but what does Spain do when two different terrorist
organizations demand two different opposing actions?
They'll be derned if they do and derned if they don't
because they can't make both terrorist groups happy.
