Nah, she's dead, there was never any question of that. That scumbag's balls should have been in a vise upon his apprehension, the location of her body would have been found shortly thereafter.

Unfortunately, this cryptic announcement is in keeping with all the other law enforcement public statements on this case which have been passed on in an amateur manner.

They should completely throw the book at this punk:

There are REAL missing people out there, and this idiot makes up a story about her getting kidnapped to get attention.

Maybe it's a bit simplistic but to me it seems that sex offenders should be put to death

Sometimes things really are simple, as you've realized. You can always tell when a "liberal" deflects a debating point with "It's really complicated, isn't it?" when obviously it's clear as glass. Years ago, law enforcement quietly took care of things about which most people don't want to know about. Today, we are subject to these human defect's repeated predations and huge sums of scarce tax dollars going down the drain in order to satiate a broken "justice system."

rope.

There is a Charlie Daniel song that references his song "Woolly Swamp" and mentions taking "certain" elements and tying them to a stump and feeding them to the alligators.

Wish I could remember the name of the song.

CROOKSTON, Minn. – Searchers have found the body of Dru Sjodin in a remote area of Polk County.

Polk County Sheriff Mark LeTexier made the announcement at about noon today to a group of about 50 orange-clad searchers gathered for lunch at Crookston High School.

"You've probably heard, Dru is home," said an emotional LeTexier. "Thank you."

LeTexier released no details about where Sjodin's body was found.

Sjodin family members and friends returned to the high school at about 11:45 a.m.
Chris Lang, Sjodin's boyfriend, broke down and began sobbing as he embraced his uncle Bob Lang of Madison, Wis.

Sjodin, of Pequot Lakes, Minn., disappeared Nov. 22 from a Grand Forks mall. She was last heard from while talking on a cell phone to Lang.

Alfonso Rodriguez Jr., 51, of Crookston, has pleaded not guilty to kidnapping her. He was arrested in December and is jailed in Grand Forks on $5 million bail.

I say we take up a collection, bail him out, and take care of business.

How much longer will our nation allow sex ofenders to remain in our midst and to continue killing the innocents?<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

I'll never forget Theodore Frank, the absolutely evil nutcase who was released from a state hospital in CA just in time to torture and murder a two year old. In some cases, the doctors even state that these people are likely to kill or maim, and still the doors open and let them out.

Los Angeles radio listeners have been following John and Ken's efforts to keep a home in a residential area in Phelan, CA, from housing sex offenders. There is some loophole which allows these facilities in neighborhoods without the usual zoning requirements, I think. Imagine, as one family recounted, finding out that a housefull of these guys was opening next door, overlooking your kids' play yard. This is insanity.

The song is "Simple Man"

Just take them rascals out in the swamp
Put 'em on their knees and tie 'em to a stump
Let the rattlers and the bugs and the alligators do the rest

I guess that you have heard about the serial molester who was released from Orange County, CA jail after being given a life sentence, because the ACLU claimed that his rights had been violated because he didn't get to confront his accuser who committed suicide after the attack.

Yes, that guy from OC is somewhere in Seattle, after giving the MMV a fake address and birth date. They're looking for him, but he's got 30 days to register as a sex offender in Washington. His own sister says he's probably reoffended by now.

Fox News is reporting that Dru Sjodin's body was found in a ravine about 5 miles from Rodriguez's home in Crookston, Minnesota. And that Rodriguez may be facing federal charges. And they'd damn well had better charge him federally (that's from me, not Fox).

CROOKSTON, Minn. - The body of college student Dru Sjodin has been found, five months after she disappeared from the parking lot of a North Dakota shopping mall, authorities said Saturday.

Sheriff Mark LeTexier sobbed as he told volunteers, “Dru is home.” He later confirmed that authorities had found Sjodin’s body.

Scores of volunteers had joined the search on Saturday for the 22-year-old University of North Dakota student, who was last seen Nov. 22 the mall where she worked at a Victoria’s Secret.

While a handful of Sjodin’s relatives continued searching through the winter, official searches had been halted in December because of severe weather and resumed this month.

Bob Heales, a private investigator who has coordinated search efforts for the Sjodin family, said volunteers had been near the spot where the body was recovered “probably a dozen times,” but the area was covered with snow.

Some relief in closure
He said Sjodin’s friends and family felt relieved Saturday that Sjodin had been found.

“Dru’s coming home and that’s what we’ve wanted from the beginning,” he said. “We never wanted to go through life without knowing where she was.”

Convicted sex offender Alfonso Rodriguez Jr., 51, of Crookston, has pleaded not guilty to kidnapping Sjodin, of Pequot Lakes, Minn. He was arrested in December and is jailed in Grand Forks on $5 million bail.

At a court hearing last month, investigators testified that blood matching Sjodin’s DNA was found in Rodriguez’s car. Police said they also found knife in the car that matches a sheath discovered near Sjodin’s car.

Before Saturday’s search, Sjodin’s parents spoke to a search party of more than 100 people.

“Your legs are our legs today, and our voices for Dru,” said her mother, Linda Walker.

Hours later, before the sheriff’s announcement, Sjodin’s boyfriend, Chris Lang, arrived in tears at the school where volunteers had gathered for the search. He and Sjodin’s father, Allan, joined authorities in a trailer serving as a makeshift command post.

Lang was the last person known to have heard from Sjodin, when she spoke to him by cell phone after leaving her job the afternoon of Nov. 22.

Pure justice would have HIM raped, tortured, and put to death in the same ways he murdered this beautiful girl.

Prayers to Dru's family. Rodriquez should fry for this. When will people learn sex offenders can not be rehabilitated?

Getting "closure" in a case like this is bittersweet.

Now if only they could find Alice Donovan...
