Miguel Ferrer on Fox & Friends
FoxNews
Posted on 04/17/2004 7:06:34 AM PDT by beavus
Anyone watching Fox and Friends this morning hear Miguel Ferrer say he listens to talk radio all the time, that he "loves all those guys" (in reference to Limbaugh, Hannity, Ingram)?
Another good Hollywood talent commits professional suicide.

Kind of a related story, watching Trinity Broadcasting Network the other night, and they had Billy Baldwin (yes, of the Baldwin family!) on. He is active in Christian youth work, and just finished speaking at Rick Warren's church and finished appearances with Lee Strobel. When asked what he says to his family, he said he "doesn't beat them over the head with it," but that his life has definitely had them scratching their heads. He said he has instructed his agents and publicist that there are certain parts he will not take any more!
Just a few nights ago, they had Chuck Norris and Mr. T. on there. "The Passion" has started to "out" a lot of Hollywood Christians, although in fairness none of these guys were hiding in the shadows before the "Passion."

Yeah, but he said he also "loved his cousin George Clooney." So like Kerry, he played both sides. He does look alot like his Dad that's for sure. I've always liked him as an actor.

I love him, and I always thought he was smart. Nice to find out he's a "right" thinking guy.
And really, I think reports of professional suicide due to politics are over rated. Look at Arnold & Mel Gibson, their views have been known for a long time. Ok, maybe Arnold isn't a "real" conservative, but he's far to the right of Hollywood, not to mention his in-laws!
I also heard James Woods vigorously defend Bush on the radio on the Sean Hannity show. I really liked the part when he said (I paraphrase): Unlike a lot of actors in Hollywood, I have a degree in Poli Sci from MIT, so I actually know what I'm talking about.
LOL, Take that! When the chips are down, I'd rather have these guys on my side than Barbara "BS" Streisand.

James Woods was on a plane that he thought was going to be hijacked, wasn't he? He has supported Bush since then, not sure about before. But if I remember right, he was on a plane and became suspicious of a person on board. Anybody remember this story?
To: stylin_geek
Yep, he's on "Crossing Jordan" -- I needed to find a photo to see if he was the guy I thought it was.

He is very good in this pretty bad movie. Watch it just for him.

I love my homosexual cousin, but I don't agree with his lifestyle. This is not really a moral/political dichotomy. Family is "blood", not much you can do about it.

Yes but more important he is a Jenorator with Bill Mumy.

It was multiple people (3, I think). From what he said on air about the experience, I got the impression that they might have been some who were on the 9-11 planes. I can't be certain about that part, though.

Ferrer was absolutely the funniest guy on "Twin Peaks." He was brilliant.

He sure doesn't look like his mom (Rosemary Clooney).

On the O'Reilly Factor tonight actor James Woods revealed details of his August experience on board a westbound transcontinental flight -- including his conclusion that the men he saw were the actual terrorists involved in the 9/11 massacres.

That sounds more like Arnold, saying how much he loves and admires all those lefties.
To: beavus
He was great in 'The Stand', too. Great cast and good story.
Heck, he's good in anything I've seen him in.

He was great in Robocop. An under-rated movie.

Speaking of Jose Ferrer, the one role of his I'll always remember was (I think) in the Caine Mutiny, where he eloquently got up in Fred McMurray's cage. Great stuff.
