Did anyone know that Katie lost her husband to cancer? I read a story about her in the latest Reader's Digest and apparently her husband had a bout with cancer and died. Not to feel sorry about her political stance and her constant criticism of the Republicans, but she is probably out of touch with the real world.

Yes but there are many people who have lost loved ones to cancer and not turned into pathetic, hate-filled people. Only a Democrat would think this gives her a pass and a reason to be horrible. Poor victim Katie! Also, why should it have an impact on her being in touch with the real world?

Why would anyone deliberately watch the Today Show? GAG!

To quote Wesley Clark: "Mary, help!"

Sorry governs, I took yesterday off so I missed the whole thing. kassie, governs is another soldier in the war to turn this country around. He watches the Today show so you don't have to.

As my dear departed grandmother used to say, "he's earning stars in his crown."

"...Is she a journalist, or a Democratic strategist..."

No, she's a F'ing war correspondent!

governs-
I missed the whole thing yesterday. I guess that was a good thing for me judging by your report.
I did happen to catch a few minutes of the longer interview on Dateline. That whole giggly thing and "unfan" was enough to make me barf. You nailed it with the fifth grader image.

Thanks for your reports!
Take the weekend off - no Katie on the Today show - and give your tummy a break.
It's going to be a long time till November. I hope your stomach will be able to hold up.

I was surprised that NBC didn't hype this interview to kingdom-come though. I didn't know until I saw that interview last night and now your recap of yesterday. They spent enough time and energy hyping that Jason Blair interview and he is a nobody.

Surprises me a little.

I suspect her mega-million salary combined with a circle of hard-core demoncrat friends are why she is out of touch with reality. It is like the folks in SF who wailed, "But everyone loves Gray Davis"

Being military, I don't run into a lot of democrats - but I'm also smart enough to know I run with an atypical crowd. Katie isn't the brightest bulb in the closet...

I am flattered to be mentioned in the context of your dear departed grandmother - and to think that she would approve is awesome!
