"Records obtained by The Post show that Gorelick, while serving in a top job at the Justice Department, met every two weeks with George Tenet, then the No. 2 official at the CIA, and headed then-Attorney General Janet Reno's national-security team."

Looks as if we are beginning to see a shadow government being identified.

Looks like we have identified the "bullets" but what we do not know yet is who was the "shooter" the HEAD of the shadow government.

There had to be a specific incident in the Clinton Administration that caused Gorlick's MEMO and who knows what else was done to give terrorists access to cause harm.

The Clintons only enemy was "right wing extremists", which they deliberately sought to make one and the same as terrorists.

WHAT was the real agenda? Where was Congress? No wonder these liberals are so ticked off about algore not stealing that election of 2000.

Mentioned in the Wall Street Journall yesterday that Clinton was involved the Chinagate at the same time.....MAYBE: Illegal campaign contributions from the Chinese government.....CIA knew lots....Didn't want the FBI to know.

The memo was part of a greater plan since Carter to minimize what they called "domestic spying". All those pesky warrants and supoenas that could come about by the sharing of info between agents and agencies. IMHO they were trying to keep too many from seeing what the Left was up to after Vietnam. Along with groups like cANSWER, others who benefited were the domestic islamofascists.

What amazed me was one of the panel maroons the other day defending Gorelick, saying she was such an expert and so qualified, input, blah blah blah. I told my husband- how on earth could they consider someone who didn't have the basic common sense to see how detrimental the "wall" would be to national security as having anything to contribute to the commission. Her "expert" opinion isn't worth spit- it's pretty obvious national security is and was the last thing on her list of priorities.

That memo was precipitated by the OKC bombing a month earlier.

Listening to Rush the last 30 minutes and he is discussing the Gorelick affair and says that Ashcroft alluded to more stuff (going back to the 90's Rush says ) that may still be classified.

Sorry I don't have more details.

Standing by to hear more of what Rush might say.

Re: 'shadow government'

Just a few years ago I would have thought any such idea was a tinfoil whackjob looney thought. But not now.

There have been too many disasters, no, attacks, that were neatly swept under the rug, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, case closed. Without knowing any hard facts, the circumstances surrounding the OKC bombing say there is NO WAY some lone militia members did that. All the witnesses of flight 800 say NO WAY was that a fuel problem. God only knows what else has gone by that was written off as unremarkable police business, move along.

Somebody, somewhere has the pull to hide all these messy issues under the rug and almost, almost got away with it. Does Gorelick know who?
