Makes one wonder how many more "inaccuracies" are out there in print being fed to the little mush heads in government schools.

What a John F'in Kerry hoot!
"How could we expect them to handle complicated and emotionally charged subjects like the Holocaust and figure out what lessons to learn about it? ..."
Umm, we used to expect that the teacher's education would have taken care of that.

Google the authors names,
http://www.meccacentric.com/002.html Sister Salwa Abdallah
provides a brief historical backdrop from the Holy Qur'an to clearly illustrate women's liberation in Islam. She makes her point by namely drawing upon the clarity of the Qur'anic Arabic grammar and the examples of the noble prophets and servants of God, men and women. The reality of liberation is truly a gift from the Creator and it, indeed, would have to be in a revealed way of life that is for the benefit of humanity. In what way was Islam the first liberation movement for women? And after the realization of liberation, what is the key to maintaining that feeling of liberation in our daily lives?

..intended to help teachers who had little or no background in certain areas, and because textbooks are often insufficient. How could America's teachers be so stupid/gullible as to not immediately recognise the utter idiocy of these Muslim assertions? Why would NEA teachers be holding forth on subjects for which they are unprepared and incapable of winnowing out illogic and prevarication?
Oh, that's right... They're Democrats, and themselves products of the government school system.
