Where was our airpower??? Our guys should NEVER get stuck like this. Why don't we have Apaches nearby to offer support when something like this happens? A couple of Hellfires would have shut down the guerrillas in a second.

Apaches? Where is the Air Force and Navy planes these days? Why aren't these cities surrounded and then leveled by saturation bombing? The most dangerous duty these Marines should have to endure is digging through the rubble for an accurate body count. And that other city:
Naja...naj...na...Not gonna be there anymore. Since the terrorists only understand the business end of a weapon, show them what continued conflict will bring.

It really pissed me off when I heard Mike Tobin reply to Greta's question of how the cease fire was holding and Tobin responded that the insurgents are just walking down the middle of the roads in order to set up their positions and our guys cannot shoot unless shot upon. I know that has always been the rule. But this is different. We are just going to wait until the enemy gets positioned. PC has really infiltrated this war.

These guys are notorious for this cease fire crap (Tora Bora & Pakistan). All they are doing are regrouping and OBL just gave the go word yesterday. According to Fox News earlier today the insurgents are passing out leaflets informing Iraqis with cars not to be on the roads from now until April 23, 2004.

Greta had Hamid Mir on the phone and he stated that in OBL's letter he had planned something big for the American military and for the American media.

Where would be a better place than Iraq to try to do major damage to both simultaneously.
