FYI. Partisan poll, but still quite the margin for Beasley.

The most recent Dem poll (Harrison Hickman 3/14-18) had Tenenbaum ahead of Beasley 46-41%; one of them is dramatically wrong.. It would be nice to have an independent poll to go with.

This is strange. What good are these numbers unless compared to how Demint, Condon and others performed against Tenenbaum? By writing this article only mentioning Beasley's large margin, the Wash Times is actually performing a service for his campaign IMHO.

I am one of those who said I would never vote for Beasley again after the battle flag thing. I wonder what the numbers would be against another republican.

I agree. Those numbers are what could really help voters make up their minds if they're split between two good candidates. But we don't often get much in the way of general election matchups before the primaries.

The fact that the poll was partisian casts a pall over it, but even with that, David Beasley is still the man to beat.

Does anyone have the numbers for Demint and Condon vs Tenenbaum in the NRSC poll done by McLaughlin? It is rumored thet it shows that Beasley is the only Republican running that can beat Mrs. Tenenbaum. I know the poll included them, but they are sitting on those numbers.
