"When the murderers were pointing a pistol at him, this man tried to take off his hood and shouted: 'Now I'm going to show you how an Italian dies'. And they killed him," Frattini said. That was a man. I hope I would respond half as well as he did.

This is so sad. I wish his family as much inner-peace as they can muster. I pray this man knew he died for a great cause and he will not be forgotten.

It's long past the time for the political correctness to stop and to let our military do it's job. I guess we have learned nothing from Vietnam, when the Washington politic ans attempted to "manage" the war and tied the hands of our brave men who were on the front lines of the battle. it is one thing to ask our young men and women to risk their lives to advance freedom, its quite another thing to put them in harms way and then prevent them from performing the job that they were originally asked to do.

God Bless the family of this brave man. May they find as much courage in living as he did in dying.

'Now I'm going to show you how an Italian dies', and the islamists showed the world how 'the religion of peace' values life.

Sounds like he was ex-military, either Alpini or Bersaglieri. The Germans and Austrians, and the allies, who had contempt for most of the Italian military, were always very clear the Alpini and Bersaglieri were first class soldiers. American officers I know who spent time with the various European mountain troops in the '60s and '70s have consistently said they thought the Alpini were the best in Europe.

Murdering pigs. I've been waiting for over 20 years for this country to take Islam seriously. But, when we do start to act, we hear how "peaceful" Islam is and how we are trying to help "the majority of moderate muslims," then, we run this PC action replete with ceasefires and the belief that most Islamatics support us, and that we are up against "a few terrorists," who do not practice Islam correctly. Not only does ALL of Islam not support us, they do not appreciate anything we've done for them, they do not speak out against the "few terrorists," either in Iraq or in THIS country (in fact: they dance upon our deaths), and they won't stand up for themselves, even while brave people from civilized countries try to better them. Until we realize that we are at war with Islam itself, our nation, our troops and the entire world will languish in this continuous and ongoing murder binge perpetrated by a failed civilization that insists on being a wart on the butt of mankind. Prayers for yet another brave victim of murdering Islamatics.

Bump for a real man.
I would suggest putting the Italian troops next to our marines around Najaf or Fallujah and raze it to the ground. It's the only thing those animals understand.
