We are very efficient at making bullets.

I'm not worried one bit.

THE ONLY VARIABLE where the US is vulnerable is in perception and poular opinions. Win the information war against the US and even after restoring electricity BEYOND prewar levels, schools up and running, universities running, hospitals all open, aid being delivered, Police being trained and used, A New Iraqi Army being trained and equiped, bridges being repaired, cell phones and internet now being available for the first time, an operational court system that is NOT a kangeroo court, water treatment working better than ever. Even all of this is NOT as spectacular or eye catching as one burning truck.

So while the US has won a war with UNPRECIDENTED SUCCESS in size and scale around the globe. Even though the US IS succeeding in building the Infrastructure back, setting things up for TRUE self governance and fighting off an insugency at the same time where all little ankle biters are coming out of the holes. The little oportunistic diseases like Sadr that wait right before elections in the US and Iraq while timing it with a major troop rotation in the hope of gaining some influence in the future. While the US is dealing with all of this AND succeeding mind you, some in the media want to paint a grim picture or somehow define this as a failure with a self derived definition of what failure and success is.

No one said it would be easy nor cheap nor without bloodshed. We're there, we stay, we win. The only way the US will loose is if the US public pulls it's support out for this. The US public IS the determining factor in this war!

New Iraq or Vietnam may be created by Saakashvili and Bush in Adzharia. Sci-fi? No, it’s reality!
Tbilisi is going to celebrate the Day of Georgian Independence pending in May with much fanfare, I guess. They are in a hurry with all the necessary preparations. We are going to see some surprises, if the preparations are kept in secrecy ‘course. It seems not the case anymore. I mean the secrecy. Not all the present and former Georgian politicians have lined up behind president Saakashvili so far. There are some disillusioned or dissatisfied ones or those deprived of power and still wanting it, like former Georgian defense minister Tevsadze. All in all, but we wouldn’t have the following leakage but for the men of the kind.
Now attention all!!!
The military exercises planned in the vicinity of Poti in end April are actually thought to be the start of the military operation to subdue Adzharia and its local strong man Abashidze.
The last visit to Adzharia of Zurab Zhvania, the top Tbilisi negotiator in the long-standing dispute between Saakashvili and Abashidze, failed to bring any results. Abashidze wouldn’t agree to disarm the local militia groups. I guess he has every ground to do so. So the Tbilisi leaders made the decision, of course with the nod from their American masters. You know America is good at counting money. It has “invested” much of it both in Saakashvili and his elite military units. Now they are to show what they are capable of just in practice. The moment is suitable enough with the international community fully captivated with the Iraqi drama unfolding before their eyes. So the drama of tiny Adzharia could attract far less attention.
It shouldn’t!!! People living in Adzharia want to enjoy peace and freedom, like people in Germany or France. We are created equal on this earth. We don’t want Georgian-American slavery, blood and havoc! We don’t want civil war on our soil! We don’t want to share the fate of Iraqi people prepared for them by the American “peacekeepers”!
