Anyone know where the pic is posted? We could have a little fun of our own with it!

Muslim civil rights
What an odd term. One of the thing about being a Muslim is giving up your civil rights. And a lot more. In a way the person gives up their free will.
Just look at This site. The followers of Islam cannot make simple decisions on their own. Islam dictates who they can marry, what they can eat, what they can wear, who they can associate with, even how they wipe their butts.
It seems odd then the "Religion of the Sword" has a problem with some words written on a piece of cardboard.

It was not known if the photos were altered in any way. Bravo Sierra.

is giving up your civil rights. And a lot more. In a way[,] the person gives up their free will. Kinda fits, don't it?

It was not known if the photos were altered in any way. What crappy reporting... first they report that there are three different versions of the photograph with different things on the sign, then they say they don't know if the photo was altered...
Their own reporting proves that there are at least 2 versions that have been altered.

And here's
the photo courtesy of CAIR.
My bet is "not faked."

disagree...this photo was taken with the intention of being shown off to relatives stateside--that's the obvious body language--he's proud. beyond that, the kids expressions don't indicate loss of a loved one.

they find this photo very offensive...

CAIR is the PR wing of Al Queda...nothing more
To: Will_Zurmacht

Islam says this is a good photo. Not offensive at all.
Or, how about a nice stoning today?

I should have clarified - The photo was obviously done for a laugh and I seriously doubt some soldier really did what the sign said. That part is fake, but I believe the picture is authentic and not "Photoshopped."

Good point. Interesting what people find "offensive" or overlook when it suits their purposes.

Or, perhaps I'm an idiot? *blush* Now I'm thinking the CAIR version I posted is a fake.
Where's the Kerry-Fonda Photo-manipulation outrage over this?
