I am willing to put aside the notion that Arlen wanted or solicited Soros' support.
The fact that Soros wants Arlen to win should really make those who want to vote Specter in this primary rethink their position. Soros is convinced that it works to his benefit for their to be people like Specter in the Republican caucus.

Is it me or is Freerepublic slow I seem to download quickly on other sites? Even while waiting for this one to load!
SPECTER is a puzzle?
There was a report I read years ago where after reading Specter involment and position I wondered where he fit in the JFK assassination it was glaring he had a role good or bad!

$50,000 bucks to a multi-billionaire is $2.00 to me.
I would gladly give that $2.00 to Kerry if it were to cast aspersions on him implying that he is solicitating funds from wealthy republicans (me and not!) for undisclosed reasons....
Whatever the reason for the donation and despite Specter's coming forth on Rush's program to denounce it, it seems to have had little effect on several folks on this forum.........but then again, there are many around here who were born with pinecones up their butts and there just ain't no pleasin' em no matter what the facts are.....

Or the fact that Soros wants to hurt Arlen by supporting an organization that sent an unsolicited donation to Specter's campaign. We don't have to look any further than your post and this thread to see how successful he's been. Your notions of political skulduggery are dangerously under-developed.
