When they are no longer useful to his agenda they will be thrown in the trashbin....where they belong. Not so my friend, they will probably be offered cushy jobs at the DNC or better yet, since they are now wealthy, kept in reserve for the duration of the WOT.

Oh my goodness, I'm cubicle bound. Release a Clinton PBD? That'll be interesting, that is, if they can read it for all the stains.

Glad I left the house for a lunch date. Don't think my blood pressure can handle too much more of these lies.

What the heck is going on at this news conference?
Question: "How safe are we?"
Hamilton and Kean babble on. Shouldn't these types of questions be answered by the report from the Commission AFTER they conclude their 'investigation'?
Where is a Gorelick question? Argh!

I cannot believe they're having a grandstanding press conference discussing their grandstanding. They're also discussing the report that they say they haven't prejudged prior to the final report.
The fact that they're doing this press conference shows that they're getting a lot of heat on Gorelick and their partisanship. All of these Commissioners should pack it in, this is a partisan fiasco.
Am composing my letter and will ask: How are we to trust any finalized report your commission proffers to the American public when commissioners are putting more time on television than reviewing evidence?
To: Right_in_Virginia
As Rush stated today, they are trying to sell the lie that "Bush Knew". So every kook conspiracy theory is getting thrown out to 1) try and confuse the general public 2)get it in the commissions transcript.
If it's in the transcript, the line of attack will be "according to the 9/11 commission, Ashcroft was flying private aircraft because he knew 9/11 was going to happen." Doesn't matter if Ashcroft disproved the myth.

On C-Span reporters are asking 9/11 Commission chairs whether Gorelick should step down or resign due to her Wall memo.
Kean says no and that's it's a ridiculous question. She is in his mind one of the hardest, most fine and less partisan members of the commission.

Finally, reporter from Fox News asks if Gorelick should step down.
Kean: "Of course not. That's silly. She has reucused herself as per rules of the Commission...she is one of the finest and most non-partisan members...people should just stay out of our business.:
Incredible!!!!!!!

Kean just said Gorelick should not step down in answer to question should Gorelick.
Kean answered no and then said "People should stay out of our business".
What a joke Kean is and the commission is a circus.
To: LisaFab
Gag! That's incredible. Just like Hatch on the Judiciary committee. Doesn't matter how many times the Democrats crap on him, they are still his "good friends".

People should stay out of our business...
Hasn't that always been their trouble? They do not understand that their business is OUR business. Trying to blame Ashcroft for Gorelick's memo, saying that Ashcroft didn't end it until the Patriot Act.
One consoling item: no one will be surprised by the final report. They're blabbing and leaking it all out now.
These two are reprehensible.

I am taking comfort in the fact that Rudy Giuliani will be testifying in front of the commission next month. I trust he will hand them their own butts on a silver platter.

I've had it. I just turned the damned thing off. If they want people to "stay out" of their business, then why is this dog-and-pony show televised?

Aggressively test existing security systems...[Gore Commission Recommendations]... Commission Will Not Reveal Identity Of One Man Who COULD have prevented 9-11: John Kerry!
"On May 6, 2001, Boston TV station Fox 25 aired a story by reporter Deborah Sherman on an undercover investigation at Logan International Airport--where the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center took off--that FAA Special Agent Brian Sullivan helped set up, in which (in 9 out of 10 tries) a crew got knives and other weapons through security check-points, including the very ones the 9-11 hijackers would later pass through."
[Blather, Brokenjaw, Squire Jennings!! Man the Anchors!....]
So, what does Special Agent Sullivan do with this information? He sent a letter the next day to someone he thought could actually DO something about correcting the situation...Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts (where Logan International Airport operates). I can't blame him for not sending it to Teddy Kennedy, who's better informed on water rescue matters, can you?]
[Blather, Brokenjaw, Squire Jennings!! Lights...camera...]
What does Senator bin Kerry DO with the letter from Special Agent Sullivan? NOTHING...other than to forward it to the Transportation Department Inspector General...that's right...the one making sure Grade B beef doesn't slip into any DOT cafeterias undetected.....
[Cue the Anchors....]

Rudy's testifying? How gratifying!
I hope that one is televised!

I am with you. Once the testimonies went public, then it was by definition our business!! Kean can go pound sand.
