"The Wives" care more about face time than they do about truly avenging their loved one's deaths.

They are pathetic creatures who don't understand the real world and are living in a fantasy world.

Since you apparently can't figure out why Tenet was retained, I will explain the facts of life to you.

1) DCI and the FBI heads are not supposed to be Political in order to allow continuity in security matters;
2) RAT obstruction of W's appointees was the order of the day in early 2001 as illustrated by the blocking of confirmation of the top three posts in counterterrorism by Senator Karl Levin. Thus, a new appointee would have been held up by Traitorous, backstabbing RATS and their RATmedia allies;
3) Retention of Tenet gives Bush cover for attacks such as this and had he been fired and embittered could be causing great difficulty in these hearings;
4) DCI is ALWAYS a bureaucrat. Some work their way up the bureacracy ala Dulles, McCone, Helms, Woolsey, Colby others come up through the military bureaucracy: Turner, Walters, Smith. Sorry to disabuse you of the notion that James Bond types wind up in the Director's office.

When Freeper Kristinn went to the waiting room at the 9/11 Commission this morning, he met with families.

He handed out copies of reports on how Al Gore didn't follow up on recommendations regarding airline safety that would have saved many lives on 9/11.

Kristinn also gently tried to tell the families that their partisan clapping was not helping their situation and that they were losing support among the public.

It used to be akin to treason to speak badly about anyone who lost a spouse or child on 9-11. These women changed all of that. Nothing but hateful, anti-American, money-grubbing, witches - and they brought it all on themselves.

While the Post has seen its print circulation soar and is the fastest growing newspaper in the country, NYPOST.COM has grown to be the 8th largest newspaper website in the nation with more than 3.4 million unique users and 61 million pages monthly.

YAHOO! Thanks for the response.

Freepers said Al Queda before the 2nd plane even hit if I am correct.

Yes they did .. I can't remember the freepers name .. I can look for it later

Well, let's be honest here. Who in their right minds wouldn't suspect Bin Laden immediately? (I can't speak for everyone else, but even though I was quite familiar with Osama Bin Laden back then, I was not familiar with the "Al Qaeda" title until 9/11 occurred.)

Once the first plane hit, I immediately asked my wife if it was an accident or terrorism. As the second plane impacted, I had my answer. And there was no doubt in my mind that it was Bin Laden (coordinated attack).

I wasn't sure who it was at first .. but I do remember being on the phone with my sister and saying this meant war

And I remember her telling me that I was over reacting and should calm down.

I doubt very seriously that Rasmussen's poll was taken from data compiled after last night's press conference. Shoot, I went to bed right after it ended. I think it will take another day to see the polls change. In other words, cheer up, the President spoke to America from his heart and many, many listened with theirs.

Yes, I know how Rasmussen's polls work and I could see yesterday he'd had a good night probably over the weekend. I cannot understand how he can outpoll President Bush at any time--ha! I definitely agree with your assessment of President Bush's appearance last night.

Rush, per Carl Limbacker (sp): When the Sudanese were in Washington, DC to try to make arrangements to hand over bin Laden, Clinton was unavailable to meet with them. Clinton was, however, meeting with Monica Lewinsky.

The NY Post is the oldest continuously published paper in the US. It is another magnificent legacy from Alexander Hamilton who started it in 1802, I believe.

What was the response from the families?

I can't believe every family member who's attending these hearings are anti-Bush.

Do you think Chrissy will EVER invite folks such as Ted Olson, Lisa Beamer and so many, many others - to give a "fair and balanced" view of the 9/11 Commission hearings.

I certainly won't hold my breath. Chris Matthews makes me SICK !!!

I stepped away for awhile to get some stuff done (go figure) and was coincidentally pondering this Ben Veniste asking Ashcroft about the plane thing. I actually generously figured he was giving him an opportunity to clear the air, not grill him. If he did not know the facts that is amazing.

I was thinking about that and the press behavior and I thought "why hadn't anyone in the press asked Ashcroft about that before"? The answer, of course, is they were content to let that outrageous implication stay out there for nutcases to banter about.
