Thanks for putting all this in order. Can't imagine why Ben Viniste would refer to the analyst as "she" unless he knew who it was. I think whoever wrote the PDB should testify also so we can find out about some of the inconsistances, like "70 ongoing investigations by the FBI."

Hey, did y'all know John Kerry was a member of the young republicans as well as young democrats - explains that flip flopping nature.
Drudge says it may be a hoax. LOL

I don't understand why Clarke would leak Plame's identity unless he was just trying to show how much he knows to a reporterClarke didn't get the job he wanted in January of 2003; the "leak" came in the summer of 2003; from all accounts from his friends, he was LIVID that he didn't get that job; IMO, that's when he started amassing "evidence" against Bush and not Clinton.

Like Leahy, then, they'd be willing to expose our intelligence operatives to sure death by our enemies. Surely, she is not this insensitive/stupid/unpatriotic/unAmerican, etc. Well, in her preoccupation w/herself, she very well can be all of the above.

I tuned in to Hot-Air America out of Chicago (950 AM) this morning and they were broadcasting in Spanish. Whats up with that? Anyone else hear that?
Maybe Air America went Air Mexico.

No offense to Amb. Ginsberg, but the president can run the country from anywhere he darn well pleases. And if Tenet's hair had been on fire, Tenet said himself he could easily have picked up a phone.

Kristol was disgusting. Advocating an LBJ approach to the war, without actually saying it. Kristol is a frustrated armchair general.

I think Clarke had a big mouth to many reporters over the years.

I agree. I also think one of the reasons he didn't get that job was because it had become evident to them that he leaked information.

Good quick timeline. Thanks.
Yesterday, when I speculated about Plame, it was instinctive to whatever was being discussed at the hearings. Then BV calls the briefer/operative a "she."
I understand why Rove was accused of being the leaker. He goes to the same church, and he has probably seen her at the WH. However, lots of folks in the WH see things and put 2+2 together.

"Alan Colmes is also becoming more and more deranged and demented"
Colmes reminds me of an overly-excited, trained parrot on a perch. All he can do is jump up and down and parrot the party line.

Ginsberg needs to get with the program.
The phrase is "Summer of Threat"
Thanks
:)
(We citizens recall it as the "Summer of Chandra")

Kristol just can't change his spots for long......still smarting over McCain's loss to GW.

Both my senators office told me they were getting lots of calls. Good.

I hope it was Plame that wrote the PDB from Aug 6.
It would show that she was indeed riding a desk at the time, and no longer in the field, and therefore could not be outed as an active field agent.
As far as whether or not it was Clarke that gave Novack her name, well, I'd LOVE to know!

Was the "Summer of Chandra" before or after the "Summer of Shark Attacks?"
To: OXENinFLA
67, not 70. Thanks for that info, I'm just getting on the thread. Rolling my eyes too.
