[history]
False premises. Errors in judgment. Personal responsibility. Mistakes, mistakes, mistakes.
Those were the words and phrases that filled last night's hourlong prime-time press conference as a gaggle of White House correspondents finally got to ask President Bush what they have quietly been asking in the cramped press quarters just off the Oval Office.

I for one was digusted by the press corps. If there ever was a more blatant example of partisanship, in the media, it was the q&a session after the president's speech. While I thought the President did well, I was appalled by the... anti-Americanism of the press corp. I just hope it was evident to everyone else who was watching.

Tomorrow, please call the President and let him know we the American people back him 100%. What better way than to go direct to the man himself so our intentions can not be misled by the media nor the polls. Inform a love one or friend to call also and ask them to pass it on. The numbers are as follows:

I emailed a liberal friend of mine, for his opinion on tonights Press Conference. (who isn't filled with hatred for George W. Bush and voted for Al Gore in 2000 and objected to the war in Iraq, He also has said that he thought President Bush did a good job handling 9/11 and admitted that Al Gore might not have responded to 9/11 like George W. Bush did.), So he is what I would call a fair minded Liberal.
His response was that he thought the President came off as extremely credible and sincere, he said he thought GWB answered all but the "What mistakes have you made" questions completely and honestly. He said he thought he will be voting for GWB this November because he doesn't think John Kerry is truthful or has what it takes to ignore popular opinion and lead in tough times
I'm still in shock

Yes, that's the wondrous thing: our president actually believes all that "stuff".
And we haven't had a leader so earnest since Ronald Reagan.
"If I listened to polls, I wouldn't be effective."
John Forbes Kerry transmits a lifelong character flaw.
He's certain that he's better than everyone, and he is uncertain who he is.
While our president has been through his trials and knows these beautiful truths.
That freedom is not America's gift to the world, but the Almighty's gift to every human being.
And that it is our job to spread freedom.
While John Forbes Kerry has to slander our president, our homeland America, our faith in the Almighty, and to insist we kneel before the conceited asses of Europe and the satin-suited swine of the United Nations--all while he, Kerry, faces tough decisions like which of his five multi-million homes will he vacation in next week.
Al Gore, too, transmitted character flaws, namely, he lied about his importance and his achievements, indicating he was and is not secure in himself.
The times are shaken by the continuing tremors of terrorism, and we don't have the luxury to dally with dilletantes.
We seek, as the Chinese like to say, the stronger horse.

"Mr. Dickerson's question about his "biggest mistake" appeared to catch the president off guard.
"I wish you'd have given me this written question ahead of time so I could plan for it," he said, drawing laughter for the first time in the tense East Room."
What's the matter with Bush advisers? Why didn't someone prepare him to answer this question? He didn't have to give a truthful response, just an answer, any answer, so as to confuse the enemy. He looked very foolish with his response. Heads should roll for crying out out!!!

"I wish you'd have given me this written question ahead of time so I could plan for it," he said, Isn't it commonly accepted that this is how Mrs. Clinton conducts "interviews"? She demands the questions be presented first.

Here's a man that is President of the United States, showing the traits I listed above, that we all so dearly missed during the Clinton years. Foolish? Nope. Clinton was the one that looked foolish.

I agree. The question might have caught him off guard for a moment, but those who understand somewhat how he thinks, know that the President doesn't sit around wondering what people think of him. He's not self-absorbed.
The dems are always preening and looking in the mirror and constantly wanting to know if they are doing good. They never do anything without first having a poll approving the activity.
Bush already knows and believes in himself, and he believes he's doing the right thing. He expects history will be more than willing to point out his mistakes.

If anyone didnt believe in the Partisan Media, after tonight, they can't help but notice it. I was picking up some take out and talking with a guy there. He said he was a Democrat, but pointed out how unfair the questioning was. He also said he wouldn't be voting for Kerry either.

That the point I try to make to some Union Guys I know. OK, if you just cannot bring yourself to vote for Bush because you been a lifelong Democratic, just DON'T vote for Kerry. If there is NO way you will vote for Bush, vote Green or Libertarian or COMMIE for all I care but don't inflict the disaster that would be Kerry on the USA at this critical point in our history. I tell you, there is NO enthusiasim for Kerry in the Democrat rank and file.
