These women are using the widespread empathy and big heart of Americans to enrich themselves materially and politically through the death of their relatives. It is disgusting beyond words. They are empowering those who actually murdered their loved ones through the despicable transference mechanism which is pathological. They are blaming those who are innocent for personal gain. President Bush, Condi Rice, and Attorney General Ashcroft have displayed integrity like I have never seen in the face of cruel political schemes and lies but worse is the damage currently being done to the security of our nation through the refusal of the liberals to support attempts to protect us. I may be very wrong but I think the American people are onto this and that the Bush critics are not playing well with many Democrats who care about America's future.

Ann Compton with ABC News looked at her watch when Andy Card came into that classroom and wrote down the exact time: 9:07 a.m. The New York Times said that Bush left the classroom at 9:12 a.m

That's how I remember it, too... that Bush sat there for about five minutes. I've been hearing all the uproar about Bush spending time reading to children and I didn't understand that they were claiming he remained seated for another 25 minutes.

CBS's "The Early Show" yesterday brought a report from Monica Gabrielle, attesting that her husband might have escaped from the South Tower if the facts about the Aug. 6 "PDB" memo had been shared with the public

Yeah, and if someone knew they were going to be in a fatal accident, they would have not drove their car that day and if someone had just known they were about to have a heart attack, they would have gone to the hospital instead of work and if someone had just known blah blah blah.
This woman is trying to tell us that with just a vague threat of terrorism on GOVERNMENT buildings, her husband would not have went to work from August 6th to Sept 11th and of course that she would have been just joyful at the resulting lack of pay coming into the family bank account. What a liar! Absolute liar! The day this was happening, my husband's building eventually cleared, but before it did people stayed in their places of employment and worked even as this unfolded and we knew it was terrorists and there were still planes in the air. My husband was back to work 2 days later and they only had that time off because they are brokers and the market was closed. The threat of terrorism didn't stop him or other men and women from going back to work, but we are to believe that before anything like this ever happened this woman's husband would not have showed up for his job based on a memo? Give me a break!
Why are these women even being given this type attention. They are clearly hysterical, irrational, and come with their own agenda that probably existed PRIOR to 9/11. The press should be ashamed of exploiting women still obviously in so much pain that they can't even make sane statements.

we want to know how the rivers could have flooded and why the government didn't do more to protect us!! We want to know how the highway collapsed and killed the people below. Why didn't the government warn us? These are some comments that could have been made with other disasters and five weeks later we would have moved on, because the government can't solve nor should it try to solve everything.

Well, of course, the terrorists did it and are to blame. However, Clinton had EIGHT YEARS in which to confront the growing islamofascist threat and chose to stick his head firmly up his ass, treating each escalating attack on us as an isolated criminal matter, with no ties to rogue states and/or major international terror groups.

I *do* blame him for anemic "responses" to attacks and for refusing to do anything that might have adversely affected his lofty poll numbers.

As a survivor of the WTC attacks, someone who lost friends and neighbors there, and a resident of one of the neighborhoods immediately outside the WTC site, I consider that gaping hole in the ground to be The Clinton Legacy.
