Are you an overbearing know-it-all at work too? GM is probably thrilled to be rid of you.

This election is about security, the economy is taking care of itself. What do the demoRATS have left as talking points besides healthcare which we all know is going to require huge tax hikes and job killing taxes and regulations. The only thing the RATS have left is Kerrys personality. Case closed!

I saw the interview of the sister of the murdered pilot on Larry King tonight. VERY powerful. She was prepared and ready to defend her brother's honor as well as that of President Bush. The same goes for the other families on Larry King tonight.
I have to admit that I was stunned... I was expecting Larry King's agent at CNN to do their usual bookings of the professional 9/11 victims (you know, the outspoken four women that are constantly on the news as the "spokespeople" for all 9/11 families). Apparently someone at CNN didn't do their homework and instead we got to see normal, honest to goodness, families voice their support for the President and voice their utter disdain for the spin the libs/dems/socialists keep trying to put on the tragedy of 9/11 and the WOT in general.
My guess is that someone at CNN is going to get fired over this obvious error...

President Bush spoke perfectly from his heart. Held his cool. That's the way I saw it. He wasn't up there using polished phrases, and you can see his soul and character beaming from every pore, whether he's happy, mad, or glad, you see it. Bush is the epitome of the kind of character that exists out here in fly over space, honest, decent, down home. He doesn't just feel anyone's pain, he's giving the bereaved an outstretched hand, and kind words, a shoulder to cry on, and a hug that lasts a lifetime, just from his visible emotions.

tgsl,
You beat me in giving the first plug when the suggestion was made to have a press bashing party. Guess I just took my time, especially adding the emphasis.
I'll repeat the announcement here for late arrivers.
Sick of the press bias that we saw tonight? Don't shoot your TV! Take direct, fun, constructive, and peaceful action!
FReepers from across the country, you're invited to the D.C. Chapter's Sixth Annual Freep of the White House Correspondents Association (thread with preliminary announcement). Quoting from that:
Saturday, May 1, 4 p.m. to 8: 30 p.m. The D.C. Chapter's Sixth Annual Freep of the White House Correspondents Association Dinner. Location: Outside the Washington Hilton, Connecticut Avenue and T Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
Our most fun protest every year. This is your chance to tell the mainstream media to their faces what you think about their biased reporting. You'll also be able to meet and thank those reporters who do their job like it should be done.

I've never understood the oft repeated accolade of clinton being a great communicator. IMO he was and is incredibly verbose and boring. Actually, as an untreated sociopath, he was an incredibly good liar. Even prominent Democrats have admitted this. Of course, the media overlooked this "minor" behavioral anomaly.

I always make a point to welcome back FRiends into the fold, no matter how wrinkled it gets! :)

It was my pleasure and I'm so thankful that you posted the number making it so much easier. Wish everyone commending our President would make the call and let him know how they feel. He needs to hear from us.
To: texasflower
I just drove down to Broadus TX for the East Texas Jamboree..
Quite a show. However.. Besides it all, I'm born and raised 100% Texan. It was quite a drive from Plano to go to San Angelo area. I'm used to Whitesboro and more a bit North-Central. So.. I do take offense to my Texas-ness :P
To: Skywarner
Thanks for your report....I just can't bring myself to watch the talking heads anymore.
