thanks for the ping here, sw -- what a great topic! Here's mine:

...you are praying for the soldiers in Iraq, Terri Schiavo, and all the other news you're up to date on via FR -- which of course means you are also thanking God for FR and JimRob. And your prayer list includes names like tutstar, floriduh voter, kimmie7, GrandmaC, etc.

...you want to be nice to the people in the other cars because they just might be freepers -- what would someone named Oxen in Fla look like, anyway, lol?

...you think of other cities in terms of the freepers you know live there. Indianapolis, DC, Pittsburgh, the frozen north. . . are meaningful now because of FRiends who live there; and you wonder how they are when something bad happens there.

...you watch something funny, like the "Living Color" DVD with the Star Trek take off of "The Wrath of Farrakhan" (James -- before he was Jim -- Carey holding his head, screaming "Farrakhaaaannnnnn!"), and you can't wait to talk about it here ;o)

I thank God for FR and for you all.

You know your a freeper when you wake up your roomates in the middle of the night with your laughing because of something you've read on FR. I can relate to wanting to ram the cars with Kerry stickers on them. LOL

Cool, but you surprise me. You speak with the wisdom of an older man than one who has a 3 year old. I may have to flame him a bit, though, just to toughen him up.

Yeah, with FRiends everywhere, you pay more attention to events in faraway places. Before, it was just some strangers and while sad, it wasn't personal. Now it is.

among others things....BTW...have you noticed lately that Byrd seems to be really losing it....many old people deteriorate very rapidly...his palsy is more pronounced, and last week it seemed that he lost track of where he was in the midst of talking...methinks he'd like to expire right on the senate floor, on C-span...as for Ted, I'd love to have a BP cuff on him while he speaks....

actually, That gives me an idea for a tag line.

Reelect Bush-We want to watch Ted Kennedy's head explode Election night.

Those earnest libs have absolutely NO sense of humor whatsoever. I mean, I used to be amused by a few (a very few) of the more clever anti-Bush spoofs back in 2000 -- provided they weren't too crude.

Have you noticed that all the Bush jokes told by the Libs are recycled Clinton Jokes?

This thread had me laughing all the way through.

Woke up in the middle of the night, couldnt' go back to sleep just HAD to log onto FR and see what I'd missed.

Hubby calls me from work to get his FR updates and to see who I've e-mailed all ticked off since his last call.

Zot is a staple in our house - we say it the cats run for the hills...

But I refuse to mention the word shower ever EVER again....LOL

You know that you're a freeper when you keep posterboard, markers, stakes, flags, remember 9/11 buttons and a stack of "Guides to the Peace Movement" in the trunk of your car.

The Moby's and Libs are so obvious you don't even bother checking the member's date.

Actually, during the past 4 years or so, most of the Bush jokes I've heard have been recycled Quayle jokes.

But they have time to take showers when breaking news shows up, right? ;-)

Just teasing. I'm proud to say I was lurking on the thread that day - when FR history was made!

Yeah, or if you are reading a story on a regular page, you go to hit "Post Reply" before you realize what you're doing.

LOL! Every single time. Then I get frustrated and leave.
