BV asking Ashcroft why he started using chartered flights beginning in the spring of 2001 due to "an FBI threat assessment".

Thank God Ashcroft gets to clear the air, and I hate to commend BV for putting it on the table, but it is a good thing.

Ashcroft NEVER ceased to use commercial aircraft and his wife used it to fly overseas in August.

Early in the year an assessment regarding AG personally, not a terrorist threat.

He NEVER ceased to use commercial aircraft. Was enroute to Milwaukee morning of 9/11. I did not catch type of airplane, but chartered aircraft was used at certain times but other times commercial.

About the 'private' air craft------TAKE THAT widows!! They made such a big point of 'in-the-loop safety'.

Does BV think he's funny? Does the comment on J. Reno show his need to get in something diverting, after Ashcroft spoke about his flying commercial?
