Limbaugh's on now talking about the commission. Limbaugh says Freeh did damage to Toon and that Reno's an embarrassment. He also says the commission is keeping its powder dry until AG Ashcroft shows up.

This commission is asking her all the wrong questions.
She only knows about the evils and dangers presented by 'Right-Wing-Militias', 'Right-Wing-Religious Zealots' and protecting Abortion Clinics. Those were her priorities.

Kerrey was a lamb with Reno compared to his treatment of Condi.
They simply know the caliber of the witnesses they are dealing with.
Shows the stark contrast between Condi's competence and Reno's fecklessness.

Softballs from Kerrey were disgusting. Ben-Veniste up slathering her behind now.
Was surprised that she voiced her support for most of the Patriot Act.
Who cares about the damned Millennium threat--sheesh!

This is bad. The Dem commissioners have to cover for Reno.
Benveniste is now answering the question that Lehrer (sp) posed to Reno.

Yes, Peach...you got it! How could the committee attack her? She's smiling, complimentary of everybody, humble, and oh so concerned about the country, the dedicated men and women of the FBI...I wanna join hands and sway to the lovefest rhythm. How could they attack this sweet and kindly, sick old lady??? But the act isn't really necessary.....she's party protected.

This Q&A session and Janet Reno's testimony is an effort in futility.
Frankly, a waste of time. Nothing will be learned from Reno. NOTHING!
The librats are keeping their powder dry for AG John Ashcroft's appearence later on. That will be very interesting to watch.

He's just trying to show his impartiality. Notice how he just let her ramble on and on and then ended with a nice ''thank you''. Now Kerry can't receive complaints about just picking on Dr.Rice. This entire session is bogus. Even the swine whiner Ben Veniste is being soooooo frickin nice it's disgusting

She should have said, in 1998 we didn't have a single cabinet meeting until sometime in September and even then not ever cabinet member was present.Bob Kerrey: "Who was at those meetings?", Janet Reno: "I don't recall".

I notice that when Reno is asked about her actions she seems incoherent and can't remember, but when she starts giving advise on what to do in the future she seems to have no problem.

I think you're on to something here.
)))))
She was famous for not being able to answer any questions whenever she testified before a Congressional Committee. She had about 3 stock phrases which loosely translated to "I'm not going to talk about that" to every probing question.

I have the utmost confidence in Ashcroft. He will not be derailed, or distracted. Ashcroft will be in control. So do I. Remember just before Ashcroft was appointed he had to go thru hell with the democreep's questioning him. I think he can hold his own.

I wish this stuff was on at night when voters could see it.
The contrast between the Bush administration and former Clintonistas is startling.
The contrast in tone when questioning different administrations is equally startling.

Out of all of the John Kerry for President campaign events, this commission is the dullest and that's saying something.
This is all just another Democrat loophole around McCain- Feingold. I'm turning it off for Rush.
