How to Confront the Enemy at Home: the liberal naysayers and America haters, enemies to our troops. By Eric K. Fox

The first Amendment guarantees the freedom of speech to Americans. But there are limits. This freedom is abrogated by the responsibility of America’s citizens not to use this freedom to incite insurrection or violence against the United States government or our military forces. Unfortunately, since the 1960's, liberals have been able to get around this obligation, which is both legal and moral, with impunity. It’s time Americans confront this enemy from within. By not confronting liberals with this caveat and the harmful effects of their rhetoric, we have allowed a domestic enemy to grow and gather. We have paid a dear price, in the wounding of this nation and her interest; in the emotional scars incurred on the soldiers who fought in Vietnam; and in the loss of freedom for the people of South Vietnam.

Hanoi Jane, Senator Kerry’s political ally and benefactor, went so far as to go into enemy territory, pose wit enemy troops, and even argue that Communism is superior to American freedom, providing our Communist enemy with a huge propaganda victory. John Kerry’s participation in the hearings conducted by Senator Fullbright were also used as a propaganda tool by our communist enemies in North Vietnam; Kerry slandered American troops by accusing them of widespread war crimes. They played tapes of these hearings in order to demoralize the American prisoners of war held by the Communists- in the most deplorable and inhumane conditions. Basically, they used the words of liberal American politicians as a weapon to use against the American soldier.

More recently, our Communist enemy in North Korea has publicized the words of John Kerry as propaganda to use against the Bush administration and to demoralize the oppressed citizens of that country under its totalitarian yoke. Senator Kennedy compared Operation Iraqi Freedom to America’s defeat in Vietnam. Interesting that this is exactly what our terrorist enemy has been saying in Falujah, Iraq- al Sadre. Both Kennedy and the terrorist al Sadre seem to be reading from the same set of talking points. Now, I don’t mean to argue that we should round up these liberals and put them in prison for treason; arguably they are treasonous, but such an outcome is both politically stupid and unnecessary.

What Americans must do is defeat this domestic enemy by exercising our own freedom of speech to marginalize these rhetorical traitors and thereby help our troops and deter the enemy. We need to stop being polite and call them what they are- rhetorical traitors. Politeness is in the face of ferocious anti-American rhetoric is the reason we lost Vietnam. In other words, Americans who care about our troops and their noble mission need to confront, attack, and politically marginalize those who are clearly providing rhetorical aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war. By strengthening the enemy, these liberals are thereby hurting our troops.

We’ve let them pervert the First Amendment for far too long. Interesting that right after the liberals used their perverted view of the First Amendment to declare a “Separation of Church and State” and take prayer out of the public schools in1962, those same liberals where yelling at our troops a few years later, spitting on them, and slandering them as “baby killers.” Evil is a wily character, when you show weakness against it, you only encourage it and allow it to grow and gather and rapidly get out of control. By not confronting the liberals more forcefully in the 1960's, the liberals succeeded in rendering the sacrifice of almost sixty thousand brave American soldiers meaningless, and the North Vietnam Communists were victorious. Communism won a victory Vietnam, and now in this country, where supposedly where freedom of religion is guaranteed, you can’t display the Ten Commandments, display a Nativity Scene, or even give credit to your Lord in a valedictorian speech. We cannot allow liberals to succeed again, and this time render the 600 American soldiers who sacrificed for American security and freedom, also meaningless. God fearing patriotic Americans need to learn from the our past mistakes of apathy and confront the liberal agenda which wants to defeat America abroad and tear it down from within. We must confront them and attack them until they are so politically marginalized that the foreign enemy will know that such liberal naysayers are the modern political lepers in America and don’t represent any significant constituency. It has happened before, we cannot sit idly by and let it happen again. It is not only our right to exercise our First Amendment rights, it is our duty to do so with great urgency and ferocity. The safety of our troops and the success of their effort depend upon it.

These people should be exposed for the unpatriotic, out of power,(want back in)jerks that they are. I am tired of conservative talk show people saying that they won't question the Libs patriotism. Their irresponsible comments are an aid to the killing of our kids and should be shoved in their faces at every opportunity. I went through this BS in 1972 and I don't need these fine young Americans putting up with it now. Teddy the fat a-- drunk should pack it up and go home, he is an international embarrassment.

Good. A lot of powerful phrases in there:

Evil is a wily character, when you show weakness against it, you only encourage it........

We need to stop being polite and call them what they are- rhetorical traitors.

We must confront them and attack them..........

Release The Kerry military service record.

And the Kerry medical record.

And the Kerry tax returns.

Oh wait, I almost forgot.

Kerry is a Democrat and is therefore and forever more exempt from truth or scrutiny.

Voila! Kerry is French.

Well said! Liberals are by their very nature anti-american traitors, opposing our troops and opposing our President. These seditious, treasonous DemocRATS need to go to Iraq where they belong.
