The President and his family spent Easter Sunday at the Chapel at Fort Hood and then visited soldiers at the Darnell Community Hospital.

President Bush held a joint press conference with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, at his ranch Monday, April 12, 2004 in Crawford, Texas, discussing Sharon's plans for the Gaza Strip, among other subjects.

The President left for the Waco airport shortly after the completion of the press conference, and flew home to the White House.

The President announced that he will hold a press conference in the White House, Tuesday night, at 8:20 PM EDT.

I agree, DC is great. I went with my sister about 10 yrs ago. Did you get to see any of the WWII memorial. I read in one of our local papers that they are trying to finish it so WWII vet can see it since over 1000 are dying everyday.
I am so glad they finally built a memorial for these brave veterans. Should have been done a long time ago.

I'm glad the twins joined the President when he visited with the troops -- I'm sure they (the twins) put smiles on A LOT of faces!!! [BTW: Jenna certainly has her daddy's smile AND spirit!!!!]

Even I am watching less news shows these days and for me that means Fox News Shows. Except for Brit of course and John Gibson.

The media is only interested in getting me to watch their stinkin' show. So they can sell advertising. They don't give a rip about presenting full reports or doing any real investigative reporting (Fox News is only marginally better anymore).

I don't know what happened to Fox. I think they gave in to critisism that they were too conservative and are trying to make up for it. So what if they leaned toward the right? Their ratings proved it was working!
