The President and his family spent Easter Sunday at the Chapel at Fort Hood and then visited soldiers at the Darnell Community Hospital.
President Bush held a joint press conference with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, at his ranch Monday, April 12, 2004 in Crawford, Texas, discussing Sharon's plans for the Gaza Strip, among other subjects.
The President left for the Waco airport shortly after the completion of the press conference, and flew home to the White House.
The President announced that he will hold a press conference in the White House, Tuesday night, at 8:20 PM EDT.

His job is hard enough without ignorant reporters asking stupid questions. I swear they all go to Stupid Question School! Oh reporters specialize in asking stupid questions .. remember the ones they use to ask Rummy last year when the war started

Well, my college is in the same city I live in. (It's about 15 minutes away.) We got back Thursday night and I stayed at home until Sunday at about 7 pm. I kinda wish we hadn't had to come back on Easter but I was there for our lunch/dinner at 3 and there to see the look on my 10-year-old brother's face when he saw the "Easter Bunny" had come. (He's precious. I love my little brother!)

RE: Misery index
I need some clarification on the college education issue. I started college almost 20 yrs ago. My family did NOT have the money to send me (my mom sent me $10 once but that's all the help I got) yet I went to a private college.
How did I pay for it? Scholarships, from working very hard in high school. Grants, which I took the time to apply for, and worked VERY hard in college to continue to qualify for. And loans, which took years to pay off. Oh, yeah, I worked on campus for about $100/month and that was my spending money.
Now, I know costs have gone up, way up. So my question is, is it still possible, thru hard work, loans, grants, etc. to go to a good school on very little money?
I think ideally, everyone should have some type of trade school/college education. However, I'm not sure if taxpayers should pay for it. In my experiences in college, the students who had to work to pay for it took it much more seriously.
JMO--any thoughts?

I read somewhere that she spent the night(s) after 9/11 with them because she couldn't/didn't want to go back to her apartment.

I seem to recall getting annoyed a LOT last year when reporters found sixty different ways to ask "When's the war gonna end?" I was suprised Rummy didn't walk over to one of them and smack them. "Is it clear now? STOP ASKING!"
