Jean jackets and spaghetti straps are not appropriate for
Easter, IMHO.

I saw half a dozen young women their age at church yesterday wearing jean jackets, spaghetti strap dresses and backless sandals. Doesn't necessarily make it right but they're in style.

Oh PLEEEEEEEEEZE. I see many young girls dress like them. It is so stupid that people in our own party cute them down, when DU or moveon will be doing enough.
I admire the girls. It can not be easy for Jenna going to UT and being a BUSH. I am sure her profs are as liberal as they come.

What are you the fashion police. These girls are dressed very well for their age. I guess you just don't get out much.

Barbara (daughter) appears to have lost a significant amount of weight. Frankly, I think they look fine.

I would agree about the spaghetti straps, but I think those jackets they put on were an afterthought. Typically it is warm here in Texas this time of year, but yesterday a late coldfront came through, the temperature droped, and it has been cold and rainy ever since. Very uncharacteristic. We even had some hail late on Easter morning. While the jackets don't look great, I think they were unprepared for the cold weather and grabbed what they could to stay warm.

Maybe you'd rather see them in a burka?

The weather suddenly turned very very bad in that part of Texas on Easter. The jean jacket probably wasn't planned.
