Think for a moment about a few of the most important decisions you've made in your life.
Maybe to accept a job offer. Invest your life savings in a new business. Or, on the personal side, whether to end a relationship, get married, have an abortion.

As I read this, I tend to get a feel of a pattern. Let's not blame President Bush (or Clinton). Bush (Clinton) made the best decisions under the circumstances. And so on. It seems the reverse of the everybody does it excuse used during the Clinton years. Let's go back to 1993, the first WTC attack. What if Clinton got on the tube after that, presented the evidence and rallied the nation against the terrorists as President Bush has attempted to do since 9/11? If he implemented the same policies as Bush has, the liberals and the media would have been all for him and perhaps he would have been thought of as a great president. However, he did not! Though prior administrations had terrorist activity during their watch, it was Clinton's - more so than the others - that failed the citizens. I may be in the minority, but I hold him completely accountable and tell everyone I know that wants to hear that the holes in the ground in NYC is the Clinton legacy!

the liberals and the media would have been all for him I beg to disagree. The liberal media would not under any circumstances support any action that might be perceived as putting women and children in danger.
All of Clinton's military actions were hands off "safe" bombing with cruise missiles from 30000 feet.
The liberal media does not want the United States to ever, ever have a military option. Vietnam is the only point of reference and the only possible outcome as far as they are concerned. In this respect, they are very much like post-war Germans who can only associate all acts of war with total defeat and destruction.
