Dammit, let the Marines go in and finish the job!! The longer this phony "cease-fire" goes on, the more momentum we lose. What do we think the insurgents are doing in there while we dilly-dally? Probably setting IEDs and booby traps, fortifying positions, etc.
I pray this stupid "cease-fire" ends tomorrow and our Marines are given the green light. In my opinion, to walk away now would be one of the most monumental mistakes of this whole enterprise.

"FALLUJAH, Iraq (AFP) - The US sergeant yelled, threw his helmet and punched the walls after two of his marines were shot and badly wounded by a sniper during the middle of a break in fighting in the rebel Iraqi bastion of Fallujah.
He heaved and dry vomited, paced, then sat silently, filled with rage, knowing the sniper had violated a ceasefire brokered between the US-led Coalition Provisional Authority, Iraq's interim Governing Council and Fallujah city elders."
Islamic CODE OF HONOR ping.

Sounds like, Vietnam. I remember guys complained back then that they could not shoot unless given permission.

Rank and file marines feared the truce would rob them of victory. It would leave them with friends dead and insurgents running free after the troops entered Fallujah last Monday, intent on breaking the backs of the resistance. They are correct. This fake negotiating tactic between Muslims will cost a lot of American and other lives. What is it, somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 hostages now. BS

A cease fire is a lost battle.
If they can't earn a total victory: BRING EM HOME.

I just read somewhere that the Marines were allowed to return fire if they were fired upon in this cease fire agreement.
Let the soldiers do what they are trained to do....kick some major a$$!!!!!

Hi Happy. Let some things fall on a grass and others know what is going on. You know what I mean.
As far as these things goes, do not dwell to much what media tells you.

For one thing stop any further relief convoys from going into the area.
If the Marines can't advance, let the insurgents have no access to food or water.

In my opinion, to walk away now would be one of the most monumental mistakes of this whole enterprise. We better not walk away. I don't understand this negotiation crap. They have no honor. They have no code. You can't negotiate with them. You can only kill them.

Dammit, let the Marines go in and finish the job!! Bring them home. Now. They have done as much as they can do.

If they can't earn a total victory: BRING EM HOME. Yes. They could go that far, but we won't let them. So it's time to get them them hell out of there. Screw the oil.
