Ok, I'm at a loss. It really IS unfair to a loyal dog or other faithful, useful animal to call these EVIL DOERS animals. But for the life of me I can NOT find a good adjective for them. AntiChrist Wannabe's?

The key board warriors are at it again, so I will add my two cents worth.
It is easy to say what we would like to have happen, but the reality of politics kicks in. It would be great to bomb some of these places back to the stone age, but we won't. We will try to placate them, try to work with the local governments to give them some say in what actions we will be taking. I do think the ROE for the entire theater needs to be relooked. If someone is seen carrying a weapon and is not readily identifiable as a member of the Iraqi Police he is then a hostile combatant and should be treated as such.

RE:
"Japan's Air Self-Defense Force departs for Kuwait from Komaki air base".
HMMmmm; Could this be in response to the kidnapping and threatened burning of 3 Japanese Aid Workers, do you suppose?
Rather that pull a "Spain" and capitulate to the terrorist's demands to run away, might the Japanese perhaps have been allowed to RAMP UP their participation in Iraq in response?
Sure works for me!
I'll bet the Japanese could come up with some very creative ways to interrogate that vicious little reptile Sadir should he have the misfortune of being taken alive by them. Same goes for the ROKs.
Whatever became of all the Kurds who were moving in on Falluja?
Oh; that's right; we're not supposed to know... and that may be just as well, actually.
I wonder if a lot of Fallujians have been suffering from a mysterious but deadly epidemic of "Kurditis" lately?

Incredibly, valiant American heroes take the time to protect the Iraqi children during this. Not so very incredible. After all, they are, as you say, Valiant American Heros, and this is how Valiant American Heros are expected to act, and how they do act.

Saruman!! That evil wizard! I should have known he was behind all this! Well, he's dead. Both Saruman and his Palistinian look alike are no longer amoung us. They are now answering for their crimes.

In Fallujah, heroes from U.S. Marines pray over a fallen hero for freedom Sssh, don't tell the ACLU or the Supreme Court. Religious expressions by government "employees" will on duty. That will never do.

Very moving indeed, Salem! Thanks for another great,
ping!I'm nearly speechless. I will only add one recollection from memory and readings. As I look at the images of Arab thugs brandishing Soviet weaponry, I am reminded of a tactic employed by SF in Vietnam. It involved booby trapping weapons caches with explosive ordinance. Wouldn't you love of of these hooligans fire off an RPG only to have it spray him and his entire position with shrapnel. Or how about tampered 7.62 rounds that explode or stove-pipe leaving these maggots blind or better. The enemy thrives on scavenged ordinace. Make them scared to use it.
I'd hate to pay the respect of compliment to any enemy of the United States, and I would be interested to have a qualified commentator verify this ascertion for me, but these insurgent punks can not be compare in any way to the Viet Cong.... except perhaps with regards to their inhumanity.

Why in the **** are our convoys not protected by tanks or choppers. We have enough over there. I am getting angrier by the day. I guess it's becauuse our political leaders [Bremer et al] are still too frightened about making anyone upset at us....sheesh...and remember the buck stops at the top [President Bush] for allowing these PC atrocities to continue.
Either protect our soldiers and retaliate instantly and with uncompromising force, or get the hell out....of office that is.

it!! Thanks so much for finding it! This is the one they had in our local paper!
I see photos from in-country like this and it inspires the heart. Praying American Marines, walking in the Valley of the Shadow of Death, representing the very best of the American experience under the harshest circumstances.
