I don't watch SNL becuase it hasn't been funny since 1985 and I'm glad I missed this. So much for black sisterhood.

That would be about right, give or take a year or two. Last *funny* thing I saw on SNL was William "The Shat Hit The Fans" Shatner doing the classic spoof of Star Trek conventioneers.
Quit watching soon afterwards, as it got too tedious trying to decide whether those things were really annoying commercials, that I should Mute; or, were just unfunny 'satires' of annoying commercials, that sould have been deleted.

hasn't been funny since 1985 That's about the time I stopped watching, too. Today's SNL is a mere shadow of it's former self.
