Amendment II A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Notice how there are no asterisks in the amendment barring felons from owning guns therefore this arrest was unconstitutional on its face.No federal law can ever override the constitution. So bush and every agent of the atf just violated their oath to uphold and defend the constitution and need to be impeached immediatly.

Seeing as how this is george bush's pet project and bush while running for president said jesus christ was his favorite person lets see what jesus has to say about arming youself

and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. - Luke 22:36

Thanks for the quote from the Bible. I'm starting a compilation of biblical references to self-defense. All contributions are welcome.

Per the Thirteenth Amendment, slavery is a legal punishment for felons; the Second Amendment was never intended to apply to slaves.

That is not to justify federally-prescribed punishments for crimes which fall under state jurisdiction, but it would justify a prohibition against firearm ownership being an explicit part of a person's sentence.
