PHILADELPHIA - Mark W. Potter, Special Agent in Charge of the Philadelphia Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and Patrick Meehan, United States Attorney, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, announced that Dwight Grant, known throughout the rap music industry as Beanie Sigel, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court today to violating the federal firearms and narcotics laws.
ATF agents and officers of the Philadelphia Police Department arrested Sigel in July 2003, and charged him with being a felon in possession of a firearm. The arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred in April 2003, when Sigel was found to be in possession of a firearm. Sigel had been convicted of narcotics charges in September 1995.
Siegel pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, and one count of possessing controlled substances.
The case was investigated and prosecuted as part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, President Bush's top domestic criminal justice initiative to reduce gun crime. Project Safe Neighborhoods utilizes a network of state, local, and federal law enforcement partnerships to identify, investigate, apprehend and prosecute those who illegally possess and criminally use firearms.
Sentencing has been scheduled for July 8, 2004.
Notice how there are no asterisks in the amendment barring felons from owning guns therefore this arrest was unconstitutional on its face.No federal law can ever override the constitution. So bush and every agent of the atf just violated their oath to uphold and defend the constitution and need to be impeached immediatly.
Seeing as how this is george bush's pet project and bush while running for president said jesus christ was his favorite person lets see what jesus has to say about arming youself
and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. - Luke 22:36

Per the Thirteenth Amendment, slavery is a legal punishment for felons; the Second Amendment was never intended to apply to slaves.
That is not to justify federally-prescribed punishments for crimes which fall under state jurisdiction, but it would justify a prohibition against firearm ownership being an explicit part of a person's sentence.
