I'm trying to catch up (after having been gone all day) but I'm also listening to bimbo Jim Pinkerton say on the Fox News show in a pre-tape, how Ben-Veniste tricked Condi into revealing the title of the memo! How does Fox get these mental giants for the weekend?

Have I mentioned yet, that every Saturday morning is ruined by the Fox Weekend crew, and having to listen to Jim Pinkerton suposedly defend our side in a debate with Ellen Rattner?

I prefer this memo.
http://www.ict.org.il/articles/fatwah.htm
"We -- with God's help -- call on every Muslim who believes in God and wishes to be rewarded to comply with God's order to kill the Americans and plunder their money wherever and whenever they find it. We also call on Muslim ulema, leaders, youths, and soldiers to launch the raid on Satan's U.S. troops and the devil's supporters allying with them, and to displace those who are behind them so that they may learn a lesson."
This was back in 1998. This memo must not have made it up the ladder in the clinton administration.

What Ben Veniste was trying to do was to get her to say teh NAME of teh memo, then stop her from saying anything else so that info would be left hanging to look bad for Bush. Luckily, Condi was hip to his tricks, talked right through him, and explained just exactly this memo said! She was great during those hearings!

Yeah, that clever Ben Veniste sure got the best of Condi.

I was floored when some other freepers said earlier that Pinkerton was fooled into this line of thinking (I hope he is embarrassed).

I hope Pinkerton realizes by this point that the memo--title and all--were public knowledge, though the *actual text* not revealed until today, way back in 2002.
