"I do not hold the sons accountable for the sins of their fathers."

Danke

You won`t massacre Idian tribes, and I won`t send Jews
into the chamber.

That`s at least a beginning for a civilized
discussion.

"Re Iraq, the entire middle east is full of terrorist and nations that one one way or another assist terror. Iraq is no better no worse, it is just a very bad neighborhood. From here in Texas, if looks like the entire middle east needs to be civilized and radical Islam tamed. That is going to be a very big job and is going to take a long time but that is the path that the United States is going down."

Well... our western attempts to civilize the world
weren`t never very effective. Beginning from the
Crusaders, until today.
Why not a "live and let live"?
I am not interested to live in a tent,
or teach them how to buy in a supermarket,
neither do I prefer women with heardscarfs.
rrrright... because we need their ressources.
That`s a fact.
My car doesn`t run on water, does yours?

No, this isn`t a "blood for oil" statement.
I`m just stating a fact.

"And who benefits most from this? Europe! Radical Islam has Europe in it's sights just Look at the Balkans. Look at Islams history with Europe. If nothing is done to tame Islam, Islam will be in Italy in no time."

I have no problems with my turkish work-mates,
they am as western as I am.
They turned our way, not the other way around.

There is no "The Arab", and there is no
"The German" or "THE Italian".

Hey, I don`t like Sauerkraut :-)

"I must tell you that the USA is getting tired of always having to fight the good fight for the benefit of Europe time after time again"

Wrong address, my imperial or nazi anchestors
never asked for your help.

"I will also tell you that if we are unsuccessful in Iraq, then the USA will retreat to fortress America, and give up it's role as the world policeman. Is Germany willing to step into that role? Will the world trust the motives of Germany more then it trusts the USA? I think not. Our history has dark moments by we as a nation have done far more good then evil."

A good point, indeed!

Not my, but the usual answer here is a simple
"No USA, no agression"
I know, that this is too simple.

"We get involved only because we feel it is our obligation to resist evil on behave of those not strong enough to do it without our help."

Right... but the Euros start to ask why the US always
has a good profit on behave of those not strong enough to do it without their help.

"Our history has dark moments by we as a nation have done far more good then evil."

With all respect to the victims of the holocaust,
I claim the self for my nation.

Let`s work together, not against each other.
This would be self-destructive for our
christian culture.

Happy Easter,
Hun

"If you don`t need friends, you are very alone, from now on."

We usually are alone to do the heavy lifting until our so called friends need us to save their bacon.

are playing games with this friendship."

No, your governments are.

You and I are not friends, I don't know you from Adam's housecat.

"Well... our western attempts to civilize the world weren`t never very effective. Beginning from the Crusaders, until today. Why not a "live and let live"? "

Excellent question, and the answer is of course 911. 911 was not an expression of let's live and let live.

Also I disagree that the west, the US in particular, has been unsuccessful in civilizing the world. We did a pretty good good in Europe after ww2, as opposed to the terrible job done by the Europeans after ww1. We did a pretty good job in Japan too. Not to mention the Philippines, Taiwan, and south Korea. The Brits also have a pretty good track record in this regard. Do not under estimate the repeal of the rule of law once the notion is fully understood by those that need to learn it.

re Islam, I guess we are just going to have to disagree on this issue. I will concede you might have more first hand experence then I. I wittness the brutal, barbaric acts of Islam in the middle east and it makes my blood boil. I hope you and yours never have to experience what the Jews, Christans and women in the middle east are experiencing at this very moment.

Enjoyed the conservation, happy Easter, be well and be safe.

right.

Chechens? Chances of her being hurt are very slight, you are probably in as much danger as she is. Well maybe not. My experience is that one is safer facing danger then trying to hide from it. Never go looking for it, but if it comes your way and finds you an easy target it will return again.

In my mind we, Germany, Russia, Europe and the USA, like it or not, are in this fight together. The battle is joined and in my mind world war three has begun.

Why don't you bring your wife home? A husband and wife belong together.

So sorry to interrupt your love fest. I shouldn't take his cheap and ignorant shots at the US personally. He sounds more like abdul than hun to me. In any event, you boys go ahead and carry on without me. I've read all I can stomach for now.

The way you win people over to your point of view is by allowing them to express their point of view without belittling it. Now sometimes that is not possible cause some people (liberals) are just plain screwed up. Hun isn't screwed up, he just does not understand why we in the usa support taking over Iraq. He thinks we are making the world a more dangerous place, while we think facing the danger that exists in the middle east will make the world a safer place. I think we are right, so will he in time.

"Chechens? Chances of her being hurt are very slight, you are probably in as much danger as she is. Well maybe not."

Agreed. you can`t hide, nowhere. That`s how terror
is working.

But it makes you a bit nervous, anyway...

"In my mind we, Germany, Russia, Europe and the USA, like it or not, are in this fight together. The battle is joined and in my mind world war three has begun."

That`s one of the reasons why I`m here.
It`s counterproductive to waste our power
in fighting each other. The enemy is somewhere
else. How can we act the right way if we don`t
even understand & accept each other?

Most Yanks have and will never leave North
America. I`ve been to your country, I have
american relatives, I know my fellow Krauts
and Euros, and my wife and her relatives
are russian.
And these Russians can be as obdurate
as you are, sometimes :o)
There ARE more colors than Black & White...

"Why don't you bring your wife home? A husband and wife belong together"

She`s just visiting her parents in Moscow
during the easter holidays, while I had to
stay here and work... that`s all.

Regards,
Hun

"So sorry to interrupt your love fest."

Well, normal ppl are calling a debate with
different opinions a "discussion".

But you are right... beeing a Catholic,
I *have to* love my opponents... ;o)

" I shouldn't take his cheap and ignorant shots at the US personally."

Excuse me, but who is using cheap & ignorant shots
here?

#37: "the worthless candy as*** that back stabbed us over iraq"... is not a very eloquent argument, at least in my
worthless opinion.

"He sounds more like abdul than hun to me."

My german name is "Luke", my fellow
co-apostle Paul...

Hun

The last "real" German leader (one who understands global events and strategic warfare) was Bismarck.

Konrad Adenaur didn't?
