I also think they never really thought it would be released, so they thought they were safe in any mischaracterization or lies they wanted to tell. Nothing would prevent a dem from mischaracterizing and twisting facts to suit their agenda. I suspect they will now say it has been far too redacted to give us a fair reading of the advanced warning GWB received.
