Exactly. I live in NYC and the day that the NYPD ever cuts and runs will be the day I move out of this country. Why are our nation's police force sooo brave and their country's so cowardly? Its the people they are recruiting.

Ours are American and theirs are Arab.

It's like Israel and her wars against invading Arabs. If you show some backbone, the Arabs run away every time.

The same can be said of their whole country & the idea of freedom. When my son returned from Iraq he was telling us how the Iraqi's would be standing around while the Army did all the work, but would bitch & complain there was no work, but would be first in line to pickup that unearned pay. They wanted everything handed to them. A concept my son and many others didn't understand, if you want something you have work for it.

Funny how growing up with freedom gives one the courage to act free & strong. The Iraqis are still afraid of who will eventually be in power & fear retribrution. I cannot blame them for their apparent cowardice.

You are right, it is a green force, and it seems has some infiltrators who are baddies which makes loyalties suspect. We recruited from former saddam's army and from the militias.

The untold story is that over a thousand Iraqi policemen have died so far. There is a lot of bravery along with some cowardice and our policement face criminals, not armed militias and foreign-supported *terrorists* looking to kill them daily.
