April 9, 2004 -- CRAWFORD, Texas - From his pickup truck on his Texas ranch, President Bush yesterday phoned his national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, to congratulate her on her testimony before the 9/11 commission.
Bush and his wife, Laura, watched all of Rice's three hours of testimony on a television set at his ranch.

I just hope she gets a chance to unwind a little. Considering what the enemy had stored for her, the scrutiny she endured and the brilliance of her response, she deserves highest praise.
I am extremely impressed with Dr. Rice.
